Chapter 57

Third POV/ 30 Minutes Earlier

As soon as Y/n got out of Steve's grip, Steve tried to go after her but quickly lost her then he was able to find her quickly and as he was going in that direction Wanda stopped him.

"Where is Y/n going? And what happened?" she asked worriedly.

"Her and I were dancing and talking but the last song started to play and she started to look frantically around until he looked over at the DJ and got mad at me. After that, she told me that I had something to do with the song being played but I tried to tell her that I didn't do anything yet she just ran away," As Steve was explaining everything it finally hit Wanda.

"Oh god, I know why she ran out. It's because the song that they played was Alex and her song that they chose for their first dance at their wedding."

"Okay I get that but it doesn't explain why she is mad at me".

" When you were turned to the DJ booth did you see anything weird?"

"Not really because the only person that I saw was Michelle, but how would she know about this," both of them think until it hits Steve and tells Wanda, " wait Y/n told me that you were there but what if Bucky told Dot what he said to Y/n who then created a plan with Michelle to hurt Y/n without knowing the truth. And then Michelle roped me in to help her but bring Y/n onto the dance floor".

"That would make sense and now she has more reason to try to make Y/n feel worse or to make sure look bad because you aren't interested in her anymore, right?"

"It wasn't really interesting but being blindsided".

"Okay, that doesn't matter right now because we both know what she has been through and she is probably going to shut herself away from us so we need to make sure she's healthy," both of them agree, "Two let's just give her some time because she won't talk to us so one of us could make her breakfast and go give it to her".

After that Steve knew that if Y/n was angry at him, she wouldn't listen to what he had to say so the next best thing that he could do is write her a letter and slide it underneath her door. Since Steve wasn't in the partying mood he decided to say goodbye to some of the guests and goodnight to the team but when Tony asked him if he saw Y/n, he told Tony the truth.

That made Tony and Pepper worry because both of them have never seen /n do this since they both first met her about 8 years ago. Tony did ask Steve what happened but he just responded to it being difficult but Tony didn't care. Steve did explain some parts but both Tony and Pepper were able to fill in some gaps which made them worry more but knew that one or both of them needed to talk to her.

Once Steve explained everything started to make his way to his room to write his letter but to his surprise, he could find the correct words and kept messing up which he hated. He kept trying and when we were finally able to he didn't notice that he was running out of paper and without thinking he grabbed another.

Time Skip to this morning

Both Steve, Vision, and Wanda were the first to wake up since they didn't drink anything last night and knew that everyone would be hungover and hungry. While Vision and Wanda made food for everyone, Steve started to make food for Y/n and put on the try to make sure that the food that he is making Y/n can eat while pregnant.

One by one everyone started to fill in the seats at the table except two which were Y/n and Tony, but Pepper said that Tony just decided to go to his lab to work on some stuff before heading over. They were also surprised to see Nat at the table since they believed that her mission would take longer.

Wanda decided to fill in Nat on stuff telepathically so no one else would hear and from the looks of it, she was ready to jump across the table and beat up Michelle but decided it wouldn't be for the best. Both Wanda and Nat didn't know what caused it but Michelle and Dot started to shit talk about Y/n so Nat spoke up, " Barnes control your girlfriend and her little side piece. I have to repeat myself so help me god I will beat them to a pulp that you will be the only one to care for them," when she finished she didn't let Bucky answer because by the time everyone was able to regain consciousness from being speechless.

Meanwhile

Y/n decided that she wanted to go talk to Tony because she can't be like this her entire pregnancy if she wants to have a healthy one and knew that he would help her so she went to his lab and knocked on his door. " Hey dad, can I talk to you?"

"Yea come in you know that you can talk to me about anything right?," Tony said, having his back facing Y/n until he turned around and said how sick she looked. "Honey, what's wrong? Are you sick?" he asked worriedly.

"No actual dad, that's what I can hear to tell you some news. First Alex died and that is why the Professor and Erik came to tell me and why I fell into that coma almost 2 weeks ago. But the bright side is I'm pregnant."

" You're what?"

"I'm having a baby all by myself with no father to help me."

" Oh baby come here," he tells me as he hugs me while I start to cry

"I need to ask you a favor"

" What is it?"

" I need to go somewhere that I could heal mentally and emotionally while being pregnant but I just want only certain people to know because if Steve knew it would be harder for me."

"What do you mean?" That when I tell him everything that has been going on since I first woke up all away last night it made him angry but he understood.

"Oh honey, why did you tell me earlier? I would have helped you go through it all no matter what."

" I wasn't ready for you or pepper but Logan knows because he knew while Wanda, Steve, and Pietro know because it felt like I had to get rid of the weight on my shoulder."

"Okay, will I have places where they would be safe for you until you choose to come back?"

"Thank you dad"

Y/n goes back to her room to start packing and notices that there is an envelope on the floor but from the looks of it she knows that it's from Steve because of his handwriting. She decided to not read it until she was gone because she knows that it might make her want to stay and that staying would be a bad idea for her. But she does decide to write a letter to Steve to explain everything but instead of taking it to his room where he could easily see it, she leaves it in her room so when he comes looking for her it would be too late for him to try to stop her.

Back with Steve

Steve started to head over to Y/n's room and when he knocked he didn't hear anything he kept knocking but she didn't answer. He called out for her but then got worried that something had happened to her so he twisted the doorknob to find out it wasn't locked. Steve called out her name thinking that she might be in the bathroom or her closet but then when he doesn't hear anything he starts to look around and sees the note.

He starts to read it and only finds out that Y/n left and that she needed time and knows that she shouldn't have blamed him for last night's incident. At that moment he was both sad and mad that Y/n wouldn't tell him in person but he knew that he would have stopped her one way or another. He thought of going to Tony but he might've helped Y/n so  he  has to do his search for Y/n
