The Toxic Love (Steve Rogers x Reader x Bucky Barnes )

Chapter 71

Before we went to sleep last night we decided that we were going to spend the weekend at the cabin relaxing and not having to worry about the outside world. At first, Bucky thought about making up a lie to tell the team but Steve said no because once we tell them, both boys will be on their bad side since the team knows how they hurt me. Bucky wasn't too sure about telling them right away but knew that probably at this point they already did because Sam has a big mouth and doesn't know when to shut up.

We all decided that in a week or so that we would explain everything to the team. Meanwhile, we are going to take our time to get used to our relationship and the new changes.

The rest of the weekend we just either watched movies while cuddling each other and food or when Enzo was done for a nap or sleeping we would have our own fun. I woke up at 7 and noticed that the boys were there which made me a little sad because today is our last day at the cabin and wanted to wake up next to them.

Instead of feeling sad that they aren't here I go get Enzo to go downstairs to make breakfast while I was trying to look for the boys but didn't find them. I ended up just making food for myself and Enzo and went to wait for the boys to come back but I just ended up waiting until late afternoon for them.

"Where have you two been? I was worried sick that something happened to the boy." I tell them.

"We are sorry, we didn't mean to scare you but we wanted to give you a surprise so why don't you go get changed while we look after Enzo," Steve said.

"But I didn't bring anything," I told them, confused.

" You don't have to dress fancy or anything, just wear something comfortable," Bucky tells me as he comes up to me and grabs Enzo from my arms.

"Okay, whatever the both of you say but I want an explanation as to why you guys left without saying anything," I tell them I'm a bit annoyed.
I went to the master bedroom and quickly tried to find something that is both nice and comfortable because I didn't have anything thinking that we aren't going to need anything nice. I was able to find a cute pair of sweatpants and a nice, clean shirt before putting on some light makeup and then heading downstairs to find the boy.

"Is the blindfold really necessary?" I asked them.

"Yes because we have a surprise for you that we work hard all day for," Steve tells me.

"Yea and we wouldn't want you not to be surprised so the blindfold will help with that," Bucky tells me.

"Okay whatever the two of you say but where's Enzo?"

"Don't worry he's going to be with us the entire time and nothing will happen to him because we are looking after him as well."

Afterward, we kept walking in comfortable silence while both of the boys were holding one of my arms so they could tell me where to go and to make sure I didn't fall. I did tell them before they put the blindfold on that if they let me fall or if in any way possible I end up getting hurt or they laugh at me I will cut off their dicks. Bucky says " No need to be nasty like that" while Steve says "Y/n not in front of Enzo".

When we stopped one of them took off the blindfold and I let my eyes readjust to the light that was coming from the fairy light and other lights that were decorating the scenario. " Omg guys you didn't have to do all of this. Why did you guys even do this?" I tell them in shock seeing a whole dinner in front of me.

"Do you like it?" Steve asked a bit shy

"Do I like it? No, I love it, thank you, boys. Come on, let's go have dinner." I grab one of their hands and pull them to the table that is decorated beautifully and has all my favorite foods and snacks.

"See I told you that she would love it and that she wouldn't be mad at us for ditching her all day," Bucky tells Steve in a whisper while readjusting Enzo on his side.

"You know that I can hear Bucky and I'm a bit mad at you still but the both of you will have to make it up," I tell him as I turn around to look at him dead in the eye.

All of us took a seat and started to eat and talk about anything that came to mind which would be memories that the boys wanted to share from the 30s and 40s. Or I would tell them some of the dumb things that I did with Scott and the other X-men in training that would get us in trouble with Charles and how it felt like I was being scolded by both a parent and a principal.

We were having a good time until both Steve and Bucky got up and came to me to turn me so the table wouldn't be in front of me and started to kneel down.

"Y/n Y/m Y/l, even though we have been through a lot of ups and downs over the past 9 years. And mostly on our part, we are sorry for that but we are glad that we have given up chance after chance because no matter where you are or we are, we will always love you." Steve says.

"When both Steve and I woke up in the 21st century we both didn't think that we would ever fall in love ever again when we did fall in love with you, we blinded ourselves with being selfless. You helped us open up our eyes to let us see what was in front of us which I'm glad because we won't have what we had back then and what we have now." Bucky says.

"What are you trying to say?" I tell them

"What we are trying to say is that after all the times that we talk about having a future that includes us getting married, settling down, and having kids, we want that with you. You have always been the person that both Bucky and I would think of and picture having a future with and we don't want anyone else. With that being said."

" Will you marry us?" Both of them asked me at the same time.

I just sat there a bit shocked because I didn't think that they would ask me this soon which isn't a bad thing because we have gone through so much and we deserve this.

"Doll, can you say something? See I also told you this was too soon but no 'it's fine Steve, she will say yes. See what happens when we move too fast, Bucky." Steve tells Bucky who also looks panicked.

"You can blame all of this on me, you agreed to this and thought it was a good idea".

"Will the both of you stop fighting? I didn't say anything so I didn't reject or accept the offer yet." They both looked relieved. "WHY DID THE BOTH OF YOU LET ME GET ENGAGED WITH SWEATPANTS ON????" I tell them to stand up.

"We didn't want to say something that looked suspension and we both thought it would be a good idea," Steve said while trying to seem innocent.

"So is that a yes?" Bucky asked.

"Yes, I will marry you too because both of you are my bozos and I need you forever," I tell them as I get up and go to Bucky to give him a kiss. " Wow, I can get used to this," Bucky says while I let him go to go to Steve and kiss him as well. 

"But you have to share," Steve said.
