The Toxic Love (Steve Rogers x Reader x Bucky Barnes )

Chapter 67

I started to get ready for dinner by washing my face and doing my nighttime routine because if it's something casual then I don't have to worry too much to get ready. I change into some black sweatpants which are my favorite and my blue v-neck long-sleeve henley before putting my hair up with a hair clip.

I check the time and see that it was already 7:20 so I quickly grab a hoodie and say bye to the boys before heading to the elevator to then go to the roof.

When I get to the roof I see it decorated like one of the dates which were one of my favorites of all time. I looked around and found Bucky wearing sweatpants and a long-sleeve henley as well as a bouquet of my favorite flowers.

"There's are for you. Do you like them?" I asked a bit nervous

"I love them Bucky, thank you"

"It's no problem. You know that I would do anything to make you comfortable."

The both of us sat down at the table and ate while catching up a bit which was lovely because it didn't feel like any pressure or anything. Y/n talked about all the adventures that she remembers from her time with the X-men while Bucky did some listening because he didn't do too much and didn't want to share memories that include Dot.

Bucky thought that if he would talk about Dot it would give Y/n the wrong impression so he decided not to because he is trying to win her over again and not push her away. He didn't mind hearing about Alex, he did think that he would get annoyed but he didn't. Bucky knew that Alex did everything in his power to make sure that Y/n would be happy and comfortable after miscarrying and getting her powers.

"Okay so for some background Logan and Scott hate each other, many don't know and others do and I for one do know."

"Why do they hate each other?"

"It's because Jean and Scott are a thing and Logan developed a small crush on Jean. So Logan wants to get revenge because a couple of days before Scott pranked him and his idea was to wrap everything in his classroom and then put a bunch of sticky notes and repeat. He did get help from Scott and his students including me and Alex too because I dragged him to it but it was fun."- "How did he react?"

"Oh he was pissed at Logan because everyone knows that they don't mess with Scott's stuff, especially food and his work"

Bucky laughed as he imagined that scene playing out and seeing Scott freaking out because he is a very chill person.

After we ate they decided to move to the little sitting area with a white sheet hanging a few feet away from them. The both of us decided to watch Tangled since it had been a long time since they watched it and it would be fun to watch. We kept talking once in a while commenting on some unlogical stuff that happens.

My favorite part started which was the lantern scene, "if I'm being honest this would be a pretty go date to go on and it would be super romantic as well", I tell bucky as I try to imagine it happening.

"I think you are right. It would be a good idea to take someone to do that and for it to be a special occasion and it would be perfect." He tells me and I can tell that the wheels in his head are turning.

The both of us kept watching the rest of the movie when I started to feel my eyes super heavy and I think Bucky could notice because he said "sleep, doll" and tucked my hair behind my ear.

The Next Morning

The wind and the bright woke me up making me think that I left both the blinds and the windows open making it so bright and cold in my room. But then I felt an arm wrap around me which I thought was Steve but Steve doesn't have an ice-cold limb but Bucky did.

I quickly turned around to meet face-to-face with a familiar red henley and quickly remembered that Bucky asked me to go to the roof to talk which we did.

When I looked up I saw that Bucky was still sleeping and seeing his face this relaxed was cute because his mouth was slightly open and he didn't have his usual facial expression on. I then decided that it was cute enough to take a picture of and to add to my growing collection of Enzo and Steve sleeping pictures.

"You know many would consider this stalking and being creepy" Bucky told me as his eyes were closed. I forgot how his voice is very different and deep in the morning and how it would usually turn me on so much but I try to hide it.

"Well, it's not stalking because technically I'm not hiding in the shadows taking a picture of you but in bright daylight so no stalking. Plus you were cute enough to be added to my collection of cute sleeping pictures that I have of both Enzo and Steve and some of the dad with Morgan, or just Morgan."

"Awe. It's good to know that I'm special enough to be added to that collection. Can I see?" he asked me. " Yea sure" I hand him my phone"

As Bucky was scrolling he would see some of Steve so he sent them to himself from my phone but when he saw pictures of Enzo he would admire them for a bit and some of them he would also send to himself.

"Who would have thought that Y/n Y/l would be the type of mom that could take pictures and videos for every little thing."

"Hey now, I do that because I want to make a box to put for Enzo so he can see it when he is older. Plus I don't know when it will be the next time I have a kid so if I ever get a baby fever I have things to look back on to help me deal with it."

"That's a pretty good idea. I didn't know that you wanted another kid. Have you and Steve talked about having a kid yourself?"

"Before Steve and I got together again I told myself that it will just most likely be Enzo and that's all the kids I will have even though I thought differently in the past. Steve and I haven't had the chance to talk about that because we have been busy knowing the new us and with Enzo but I think when we are ready we will try. Why?"

"I was just curious and mostly because of what you said in the past," Bucky said as he looked into my eyes and started to lean into me.

I didn't notice that I was also leaning into him until both of our lips met and started to kiss. I knew that it was wrong because I haven't talked to Bucky about being in a relationship again but at the same time I don't want to stop. It felt nice to kiss Bucky, I completely forgot how Bucky used to kiss me before.

After a bit I pulled away needing some air, I looked at Bucky's face to see if he regrets it or his thoughts but I can't tell I can see in his eyes he didn't but is trying to figure out if I did.

"Do you regret it?" I shake my head. - "Did you?' He shook his head. "But we do need to talk", I tell him, pulling farther from him.

"What about?"

"Would you like to be in a relationship with Steve and me again? You don't have to give me a response right now."

"I don't have to think about it because my answer is yes." He told me and I launched myself into his arms to hug him. I then told him how Steve and I made a plan to get him back and it made him laugh because he and Steve also created a plan for last night.

" We should prank Steve that it didn't work and that we are made for each other," I tell Bucky but from the look on his face I wasn't too sure
