Pigment stood tensely beside Erratum, arms crossed in a defensive manner. Pigment hadn't been at Sci's uncle's place since their first encounter months ago, as he had left most of the talking to Erratum. Despite his want to keep his record going, preferably forever, Pigment was forced to return to the lab with Erratum and his co-workers, after a full year of not being there.

There wasn't many things in the world that would force Pigment to enter a lab, but unfortunately, getting Erratum home was one of them.

The human scientist- The one that reminded him of his Blue slightly, Grinned at them and clapped his hands a single time. "You're finally here!" The human exclaimed, his face looking tired but excited nonetheless. Erratum nodded, "sorRY, thE rOAd's WerE bUsy" Erratum responded in lieu of greeting.

Nightmare rolled his eye-lights, "Busy? More like a nightmare" He complained. Ink snickered, "Nightmare huh?" He said, ignoring Nightmare's vicious glare. The human smiled at Erratum, ignoring Ink and Nightmare's banter, " C'est bon, Don't worry about it!" The scientist reassured. The other scientist, Who Pigment was pretty sure was the human's brother, nodded and spoke up for the first time, "Yes, It's no worry" The skeleton told the group, "Come, let us show you our work" He spoke, leading them with a wave of his hand before turning around.

They all followed the two scientists silently. They were led into another room- one much similar to the one they were in before, with white walls and flooring that made Pigment's brain itch uncomfortably, and with a bright ceiling light that somehow made the white-ness of the room feel even more white. The room, unlike the last one, was filled with less desks and draws, and instead was replaced by large silver machinery that seemed to have no other purpose than to hum constantly.

Luckily, these contraptions did not glow an ominous blue. He wasn't sure how he would react if they did.

The silence was broken by a loud yawn from sans from behind them. Everyone turned to him, making him give them a look that was failing to look offended. "What?" The tired skeleton exclaimed, before yawning again.

Pigment stared at Sans for one more second, before deciding that Sans wasn't important enough to keep his attention, and turned back around. The others seemed to come to the same conclusion, as they did the same thing, with Paperjam asking impatiently, "What are we meant to be looking at?" The young adult inquired, looking around the room curiously.

The scientist- Pigment faintly thought of trying to remember the scientist's name, but found he couldn't be bothered to- grinned at them, before pointing at a desk with a box around the size of a human's head, which had colourful wires with strange white circles coming off it, and a larger, black wire attached to it's right side which then fell behind the desk, disappearing. It's front had a short, circular tube protruding out from it, it's purpose unknown.

Ink was the first to speak, "That's it?" he asked, his tone both surprised and disbelieving. Pigment silently agreed with his counterpart, as compared to the other, much larger metal boxes that were still producing that strange humming sound that was slowly driving Pigment mad, The small black box looked rather useless.

The human scientist rather ignored Ink's disbelief, or didn't notice it, "oui! magnifique isn't it?" He replied. The other scientist sighed at him, before speaking up, "The code was quite similar to cells- They are both very tiny" The skeleton paused, for only a second, "It's very complicated inside, but it's so small it doesn't need to be held in something larger" He told them.

Pigment glanced at the others in the room, who all seemed to understand what a 'cell' was. Despite his slight confusion, Pigment didn't bother to speak up, mostly because he didn't care enough to ask. Nightmare nodded, while Ink muttered a rather hesitant, "That makes sense" to himself.
