Chapter Twenty-One

Erratum and Blue were hanging out with each other, In Erratum's favourite coffee shop; The busy bean. Erratum sighed, looking at the even more hyper Blue, "WhAT'S gOt YoU sO hAPpY?" Erratum asked, watching Blue finish of a muffin. Blue giggled, "Oh yeah! you wouldn't know. In three days it's the summer holidays!" Blue cheered happily, Erratum lifted a non-existent eyebrow, "WhAT IS A sUmmER HoIlday?" Erratum asked, Blue quickly responded, "the summer holidays, is something we do every year! basically, Everyone has a break from school for six weeks! isn't it cool?" Blue explained, grinning. Erratum frowned, "reAllY? hoW wILL I geT toO SeE eRROR thEN?" Erratum asked sadly, Blue smirked, "Well, i do have his number... i guess i could set up a date for you two" Blue told him, Erratum went yellow, "D-daTe?!" Erratum squeaked out, glitching slightly, "Of course it'll be a date, you two are dating, right?" Blue asked suspiciously, Erratum scratched his head nervously, "WeLl, I mIGht HAvE aVoIDEd TaLking TO hIM EVer sINCE then..." Erratum admitted.

Blue slammed his hands on the table, thankfully no one paid the sound mind though, "what?! it's been two weeks Erratum!" Blue screeched, Erratum nodded, "YeaH, i kNow..." Erratum replied, Blue continued, "And you haven't talked to him!?" Blue asked in disbelief, Erratum nodded, "I JusT... I CAN't eXplAIn It, i kINDa FEel EMbaRRassED, buT I alSo Don't" Erratum explained, Blue sighed, "Geez Erratum, you aren't marrying him yet" Blue exclaimed, Erratum paused, "MARrY?" Erratum asked, Blue nodded, "yeah, he's not gonna propose to you or anything" Blue deadpanned, a few seconds later, a beeping noise was heard, "oh geez Erratum" Blue sighed, looking at Erratum, who was now crashing.

The next day, Erratum was setting up his classroom for the students, when suddenly he heard a knock at his door, "yOu Can CoMe In" Erratum shouted, a second later Error came through the door, "Hello Error, can i talk to you?" Error asked, Erratum replied nervously, "SoRry, I Just reMEMbEREd THaT I HAVE to HelP bLue With SomEthInG" Erratum tried passing Error, but he blocked The nervous skeleton, "Blue told me why you've been avoiding me..." Error told Erratum, Erratum avoided Error's eye-sockets, "He DId HuH? WELl..." Erratum paused, a lost for words, Error smiled, "How about i take you on a date?" Error asked.

Paperjam and his friends were all sitting on one of he tables in he cafeteria eating their lunch. They were all talking to each other, and right now, they were on the subject of Pigment and Erratum. Or, Everyone but Paperjam was, "Isn't their magic cool?" Undyne asked, "i wish i could have magic" She continued, Killer nodded, "yeah, hat would be cool, but it can't be that strong. Pigment and Erratum are Gods, but they can't even get home" Killer reasoned, Fresh pouted childishly, "wow Killer, what a party-pooper" Undyne nodded, "yeah party-pooper, and i'm sure they will find a way home" Undyne responded, Dust shrugged, "yeah, but they don't even look like they are trying to get home, maybe they don't want to" Dust piped up, then Horror spoke, "yeah, but didn't you see how sad Erratum was when talking about his friends? he probably wants to see them, and going home would let him" Suddenly, Paperjam stood up sharply, "Excuse me, but i'm going to eat somewhere where people aren't talking about nonsense" Paperjam spat, leaving the cafeteria quickly.

Paperjam eventually found a quiet spot, void of people, and completely silent. "Damn them, what are they talking about, Magic, yeah. as if" Paperjam spoke to himself, glaring at his lunchbox. Paperjam sat there doing nothing, no longer feeling up to eating. Suddenly, he heard a voice, "Hello kid" Paperjam quickly span around to see a shady monster, "hi? who are you?" Paperjam asked, keeping a distance from the cat-like monster, Said monster made a raspy laugh, "I'm... Jeffry, i'm here because Your parent wants you, they told me to come and get you" Jeffry explained, Paperjam nodded warily, "my dad wants me? why didn't he come and get me himself?" Paperjam asked, taking a step back, "He was busy with the history teacher, i told him i would get you for him" Jeffry explained vaguely, Paperjam nodded, "Okay... where are we meeting my dad?" Paperjam asked, The monster laughed, "Come this way, i know a shortcut to the reception desk" Jeffry responded, walking off. 

Jeffry stopped, "Aren't you coming with me?" Jeffry asked, looking down at Paperjam, Paperjam nodded, "yeah, do i need to get my stuff?" Paperjam questioned, Jeffry shook his head, "Nah, one of your friends already got it" Jeffry replied. Paperjam nodded, then started to follow him, keeping a safe distance from the strange monster.

After a few minutes, the two reached a deserted corner, far away from everyone else, "...Why are we here?" Paperjam asked, taking another step back, The man laughed, "Damn kid, you ain't the smartest in your class are you?" Jeffry asked. Paperjam took another step back. Jeffry's grin got wider, "well, this will be fun" Jeffry laughed out, smirking strangely.

Erratum was walking around the school, still flustered from his encounter with Error. Erratum was walking around peacefully, humming 'a song that might play when you fight sans' when suddenly, he heard a familiar voice scream. Erratum instantly recognized the voice as paperjam's, though, it sounded much more frightened. Erratum turned to the direction he heard the scream, and saw that it was around the old building for the P.E department, that was no longer being used because of it's horrible echo-y sound. 

Erratum sprinted over to the area and looked around frantically. he ran around the whole place, until he found the location of the scream, a strange out-of-sight corner. Once he got there, he found a cat-man with a knife on top of a struggling Paperjam, Paperjam screamed, but it was muffled by the man's hand, "shut up brat, we don't want anyone to hear you" The man hissed, Erratum stomped over and glared at the monster, "ExCuse Me SiR, BuT i WoULD REcommENd You GEt Of Him right now " Erratum spat out, summoning a gaster blaster, "Or you will end up having a very BAD time" Erratum warned him. And then, the blaster shot, barely missing Paperjam.

After Erratum made sure the man was unconscious, he hurried over to a distressed Paperjam, "PapErJAM, IT'S oKay, I'M RIGhT herE" Erratum tried calmed Paperjam, and succeed, Paperjam, who was now somewhat calm, Shakily smirked, "ha, i guess you were right about hearing us when we need help" Paperjam said, looking up to Erratum, Erratum kept Paperjam's gaze for a bit longer, before sighing, "I'M gLAd yOur Okay, cOME, We NEeD to TaKE yoU to YoUr daD" Erratum responded, lifting Paperjam up easily.
