(WARNING; This has certain topics that one might not be comfortable with, If you find anything to do with ending your own life uncomfortable, they'll be a sign saying to skip that part, and to scroll down until you see another sign saying you can continue. I'll give a softer explanation of what happened at the end of the story, it's rather short and since i've never had any experience with it rather happening to me or a friend, i don't know how to properly write something like that with out offending anyone. If anyone finds it the least bit rude, i apologise in advance)

One year Ago

A passive nightmare paced around his room. It had been a few months since Error had fell into the void, a Nightmare hadn't seen anyone (except from Killer) every since they retreated back to the castle. The skeleton had a whiteboard pen in hand, and all around him were scribbled words. They were so messy, that he doubted anyone would be able to read it other than himself.

If you are  thinking that the reason he was so worked up has something to do with Error, than you would in fact, be correct. Honestly, Nightmare would admit to himself that he would be balling his eyes out right now, if it weren't for one little fact.

He still remembered Error

At first, Nightmare thought it had to do with the fact he was a guardian, or that he was so close to the glitching destroyer, but, after talking to (or threatening) over sixty different skeletons, then making sure they stayed silent about it, he knew something was wrong.

If you don't know why that's a problem, it was because anyone or anything that falls into the void if forgotten, by everyone.

At first, he thought it had to do with the fact that he fell into the one in Outertale, which looked very different to the normal connections to the void, which was, in most cases, the core. But, after looking at the code of it, with the help of what Error taught him over the years, the only difference was it's physical apperance.

So, if it wasn't anything to do with the void itself, it had to be something about Error. When he first started thinking about it, he first assumed it had to do with how much he affected their multiverse, and therefore, the void couldn't get rid of the memories of Error everyone had. But, Nightmare thought, The void could of easily just of replaced Error in their memories, that isn't hard to do. And so, that theory was also out.

Then, Nightmare thought, maybe it had to do with the fact Error was an outcode. That theory was forgotten about quickly, as Error was still a living, breathing thing. So, for the past few months, Nightmare had been making up theories, and then deciding that they didn't make sense.

'Well' Nightmare thought, 'Error was the one who always had ideas for this kind of thing' Nightmare continued to himself. His eyes then teared up, 'why did he decided that was a good idea?' He thought, before pausing, 'well, it wasn't the first time he tried something like that' he thought.

Nightmare, fully covered in goop, opened a portal to the anti-void, worried for his friend. "It's been three months" He grumbled to himself. Walking through the portal, Nightmare found that he couldn't see Error anywhere. "Error! where are you?!" Nightmare shouted, walking further into the anti-void.

*SKIP*

He walked over to a pile of dolls, which had a hammock swinging slightly, even though there was no wind. "Error!" He shouted again. He groaned, looking up in frustration. Expecting to see nothing but Blue, Nightmare felt his throat go dry.

"Oh my god..." Nightmare whispered. He then growled, and used his tentacles to grab the glitching body from the never ending sky of strings. Error's eyes were closed, and he had his srings tightly rapped around his own throat. "Error! wake up!" Nightmare growled out, slapping Error's skull.

Error groaned, opening his eyes. His body glitched slightly, seeing he was being touched, but it calmed down once he noticed who was touching him. "NiGHtMAre? WhAT hAPpENed?" Error questioned. Nightmare growled, "What happened?! you tell me! I'm the one who found you like that!" Nightmare shouted.

Error's eyes widened, remembering what happened. He gave a pitiful laugh, "HAhAHAha I gUesS i rEalLy Can'T DIe, HuH?" Error told him, "HAhahahA, BeiNg A gOd sUcKS" Error admitted.

*YOU CAN CONTINUE*

Nightmare shook his head, 'don't think about that' he told himself, before pausing.

"i rEalLy Can'T DIe, HuH?"

"BeiNg A gOd sUcKS"

Nightmare's eyes lit up, as if he figured something out, "If he's a god.." He muttered, "And can't die.." He continued. His eyes teared up, and he remembered something else.

"Do YoU sEe ThaT piECe oF CoDE, NiGhTMare?" Error asked, Nightmare nodded, "Yeah? what's so important about it?" He asked. Error smiled, almost bitterly, "One day, Nightmare, That piece of code is going to be very important to you" Error whispered to him, without explaining further.

As if his body just seemed to know what to do, He managed to pull up that same piece of code. "what are you?" He asked himself. Hesitantly, he touched the code, and opened it.

Original Multiverse

Nightmare growled, looking at all of his... teammates, "Today" he told them, "Today, the star sanses will fall!" he shouted.

FGOD Universe

Nightmare laughed, as he saw cross tied up in Blue string, wailing as Error ate the last chocolate bar.

Swapverse

"Look! it's senpai!" he heard himself say, looking over to a fancy looking cross, "Dude, your so pathetic" another skeleton said.

Dreamswap

"u-uh we gotta go!" He heard Error say. Looking over, he saw his brother glaring at him, with Ink lazily standing next to Dream. His brother had massive golden wings, but before he could take him in more, A skeleton, who was obviously cross, grabbed his arm, "Night, we gotta go!".

Empireverse

Nightmare walked through something that looked similar to a dungeon. Guards with strange moon tattoos of moons on their faces stood cold face, not even daring to stare at him. Nightmare finally stopped at one cage, and smirked, "Hello, brother"

NaJ Universe

Nightmare growled, looking at the classroom of children, All chatting a little to loudly. "Silence!" he shouted, "I'm Mr. Nightmare, and I'm your new History teacher".

Nightmare gasped, in shock after watching all those different versions of himself. "Void, God, can't die, Multiverses..." He muttered, "Come on Nightmare, figure it out" he said to himself.

"Error fell in the void" He stated, "But, he's a God" He added, "So he can't die..." He continued. He paused, thinking, "sssooo..." He said, "Instead of dying..." Nightmare's eyes widened, figuring it out, "He fell into another multiverse" He stated.

Nightmare grinned, goop over taking his body, "So, if only a God can survive it.." He told himself, "I just need to get myself a God" He said.

*softer Version*

Nightmare walks into the void, and after a bit of searching, finds Error. After asking Error what the hell he thinks he was doing, Error only replies with 'being a god sucks' 'i guess i can't die' and a lot of laughter, which helps him figure out what happened with Error and the void.
