(*Edited Into 3rd Person*)

Error looked down into the never ending void, the longer he stared at it the more it felt like it was sucking him in. Everything hurt, and he knew he would've been dead if he couldn't die.

"Error! come here! we aren't finished! we wont let you get away!" Error heard Ink scream. He turned around to see seemingly thousands of monsters, all angry faces staring up at him, furious at his mere presence. They wanted to hurt him, he knew. Kill him even.

They all glared at Error with a passion Error hadn't seen in a long time. All of them looked at him with a burning hate that came second to none. Despite this however, Error could never find himself to give the same stare in return. He was much like Ink in that way, who despite it all, gave him a look more akin to forced righteousness.

Error found no hate for the monsters in front of him. Fear, maybe. But never hate. Even though Error didn't want to, he understood their reasons. He knew why they thought that they were in the right. "HellO InK" He greeted, having up until this point, not actually spoken to the skeleton.

"You can't run away, we'll kill you!" He exclaimed proudly, the words causing the mob behind him to scream loudly. Their noise felt muted compared to Ink's words. Error felt laughter bubble up inside him, it coming out dry and unwillingly amused. "nO nEed InK" He responded, his words causing Ink to briefly look at him in confusion. The look disappeared shortly, once again being replaced by a determined glare.

He looked up, staring at the stars of Outertale. They were beautiful, Error thought, perfect for the already calm AU. He hoped that this wouldn't ruin his image of Outertale. Ink stared, "You really think your cryptic words will stop us Error?" He asked, before letting out a laugh, lighter than Error's own. "haha, I thought you were smarter than that" He commented, the rude words causing the silent mob behind Ink to mutter quietly.

Ink lifted up his Broomie, His bright ever changing eyes burning into Error's figure. "Face it Error, we've cornered you. We've won" He told Error, staring at Error with a look he didn't have time to understand.

Error felt a hollow fear fill up in him. Ink was many things, Error knew, but a liar wasn't one of them.

Both Ink and himself couldn't die, both of them knew that. And while Ink may be reassuring his council with Error's death, both of them knew that wasn't what was going to happen. Ink never wanted Error to die, Error was aware. It would ruin the soulless monster's fun.

It frightened Error that he didn't know what Ink planned to do.

"HaVE yoU? Are YOu suRE?" Error snarked, stepping back ever so slightly. With every slow step he took, Error was keenly aware of the distance between himself and the dark abyss below him known as the void.

Ink huffed, unaware of Error's small movements. "I've never been more sure in my life" He instantly responded. The group behind him had gone oddly silent, as if they were waiting for Ink's next move.

Funny that, Error was doing the exact same thing.

Ink gave him a flat smile, "Give up Error. Maybe we'll spare you if you come with us willingly" He informed Error, the words said in a tone that only Ink managed to seem to talk in. He could see Dream relax ever so slightly beside the skeleton. No doubt the whole ordeal was affecting the skeleton heavily. Even Error, someone who wasn't close to Dream, could see he wanted this all to end.

"DoN'T woRry InK" Error spoke, his feet finally pausing at the edge of the void. In an assured tone, he continued, "ThIs WIlL bE thE lasT tIMe YOu'Ll NeEd To TeLL Me ThaT" He informed him, watching as grim understanding entered Ink's eyes.
