Paperjam sat up in a panic, his eye-lights dilated. He took large, shaky breaths, gripping onto his bed covers like a life line. Paperjam tried to control his breathing as quickly as possible, and he hesitantly let go of his bedsheet.

Glancing over to the left, Paperjam noted that Gradient had already got out of bed, and was currently not in their shared bedroom. Taking one more shaky breath, Paperjam calmed down. Ignoring his hands, that were still shaking, he stood up, getting ready for the day.

As he started to do this, His bedroom door suddenly opened, and his Father, Error, Appeared. "Morning PJ!" Error greeted. Paperjam said nothing, and Error took it as him still being half asleep. "If you don't hurry up, you'll miss Breakfast" He warned his son. Paperjam nodded, and Error left, going to check up on Gradient. Paperjam sighed, and looked down at his hands, scowling.

He quickly got dressed, and did all of the other things he had to do before school. Sadly, he still didn't have enough time to eat breakfast, so he just grabbed a piece of, now cold, toast. With everything ready, the three of them headed off to school.

Entering the school, (after dropping Gradient off), Paperjam started to head off to Mr. Erratum's class, when his dad stopped him. "Hey Paperjam, I won't be able to take you home today" Error told Paperjam. Paperjam nodded, "yeah, okay dad, that's fine" Paperjam said, "Who's picking up Gray though?" He asked.

Error smiled, "He has music club, remember?" Error reminded him. "I'll be able to pick him up by then" Error informed Paperjam. "You can rather stay here and wait, or go home yourself, what are you gonna do?" Error asked. Paperjam shrugged, "I'll walk, it isn't that far" Paperjam responded.

Error nodded, "Okay, don't get lost, okay?" Error joked. Paperjam gave a chuckle, "Okay dad, see you later" Paperjam replied, going to class. Since it was Tuesday, The first lesson Paperjam had after registration period was Art with Mr. Ink. Of course, He had it Emilio, as he always does, but that didn't really matter.

Over all, the class was the same as it is all the time, Though, this time they had to draw something that was relatively simple, so it was a little easier than usual. After Art, he had English, one of his least favourite subjects. He hated English, and couldn't understand how anyone would enjoy the subject.

After that, they had break. As usual, he sat with his friends, who were all talking about something to do with magic.

So of course he wasn't talking, it was absolute nonsense after all.

The same thing happened at Lunch, all his friends were talking about magic. Now, normally he would of just walked off somewhere, and maybe say a few rude words about what they were talking about.

Except, you all know what happened last time he did that.

So, much to his displeasure, he sat listening to them talk about stupid and absolutely untrue things all lunch, all because he was a coward.

Last period was strange. He had Food tech with Dust. Now usually, Dust would be staring at their teacher, Mr. Blue, in a way that, In Paperjam's opinion, made Dust look like a freak, a stalker if you will.

But today, Dust avoided looking at Mr. Blue, and looked like he just wanted to get out there as quickly as possible. Of course Paperjam, being the wonderful friend he is, asked Dust what was wrong. Dust then told Paperjam some Bullsh*t that obviously wasn't true in the slightest, refusing to tell him the truth.

Paperjam groaned, "This day was horrible" He whined. He just wanted to go home, and sleep. Paperjam frowned, 'maybe something else..' He thought with distaste.
