Still exhausted and just woken up, Zareena tried her best to sit upright. As her ash eyes landed on her lap, Zareena felt a change in her uniform. The navy blue police outfit that Zareena wore along with the headcover got changed into a pale blue striped white hospital gown. Running her gaze across the room, Zareena's gaze ran across several faded figures from which she could only recognize her brother standing.

"Xynn, what are you doing here?
My last memories remind me of functioning at Annie's place. What brought you to see me, what happened with me, and who are all these shaded figures?" Asked Zareena as she couldn't help but constantly blink her eyes.

"Zareena, I could never accept this at all. However, you call me, you are still an ignorant older brother. This is how I see you today. I could never accept it

What have you done out of yourself by working at a job like this? Your status was better off as a homemaker rather than a so-called investigator. Even though you still made everything possible for me today." Taunted Xynn in front of everyone.

"Brother, I petty on you and cannot also blame you after all the preferential childhood you lived through made you the most arrogant and ungrateful." Mumbled Zareena in a relatively weaker voice while her ash eyes angled straight ahead and away from her brother. Commanding Xynn to step aside Veronica took a step ahead.

"Do you still think protecting a citizen's life is a plebeian job, Were you raised right or are you high?

Zareena, this is the Veronica Queensley speaking. We are connected on an audio call with the other investigators Leon Harris, Umber Penelope, Olivia Kingsley, and Tyler Oakley. And talking about the people within the room. I alongside Wynn Ross and Quinton Monrey have accompanied along with your brother who called himself Xynn Haider.

Zareena after all you have experienced, as your superior, I wanted to know if you could continue your job?" Questioned Veronica still concerned about Zareena's wellness.

"Our apologies, that our family still doesn't allow her to work." Expressed Xynn trying to jump into the conversation.

"I prefer to work." Expressed Zareena sharply making Xynn even angrier. Staying on his stubborn decision Xynn walked ahead near the bed in rage as he continued his protest.

"Zareena you don't seem to understand my words while I am speaking it myself. Wait till I spread these words in our hometown then you must remain silent to your fate." Enraged Xynn.

"If my duty officer is denying to discontinue her job so are we and if you go against our orders remember that we leave our family behind to portray our duties. I do not fear how vast is your bloodline nor should Zareena suppress herself for selfish needs. If you decide to go against our county then remember we have enough space for your protestors.

You have no idea of our power. If we want her to work along with her according to her will and Zareena we would still provide you with an option of skipping this case.

Dr Quinton has talked with her friend, Dr Ashley who would help you cope with the situation you have faced while drugged and drowned to near death. And for your gladness, your whole treatment cost will be covered under our insurance so you won't have to pay anything." Explained Veronica retracting her step back.

"Zareena, are you feeling fine?" Questioned Quinton. "I can see as fine as before. My view has regained its sharpness." Spoke Zareena with a small grin.

"Do you have a hold on your senses?" Questioned Quinton. Zareena answered back positively.

"Zareena, I need your help to analyze your situation. Right now Zareena we are at the hospital, but I want you to visit the station along with us. Wynn, Veronica, and I will accompany you to help us out. Leon, Olivia, Tyler, and Umber are eager to hear as well." Continued Quinton. To which Zareena eagerly agreed to her request.

"Appreciate your help and Chief Veronica has requested us to gather in her van on the way back to the station." Continued Quinton.

While still sitting in his black car Xynn couldn't hide his bother and restlessness towards his youngest sister while being an elder brother.

Gathered in the living room of the wood's mansion. Leon spoke through Umber's mobile.
"Good morning Chief,
We have put Annie under handcuff.
We are gathered within the woods mansion.
Can you hear us as clearly?" Questioned Leon.

"We can." Responded Veronica into Wynn's mobile.

"Zareena, do you have any idea how you were targeted?" Spoke Quinton.

"Not exactly Dr Monrey." Responded Zareena.

"Miss Zareena Tasneem, you have been ingested with a larger dosage of Diphenhydramine. You have been ingested in quite a larger volume with reference even twice to thrice to when Olivia had it in herself. And something struck my mind, the strange phenomenon to this case is your body has recognized the dosage as it was no strange to that chemical itself in case if your body were to reject the chemical dosage your heart would have suddenly stopped working." Continued Quinton.

"Adaptability to drug reveals the pattern of the drug dosage which also reveals the time and length of the dosage." Continued Wynn.

"Very brilliant of you Wynn.
Are there anything that remains to ask about?" Questioned Veronica while facing Wynn.

"Zareena, I have this question about how you felt about them having an eye on our investigation." Questioned Wynn.

"I had been drugged very often here and there leaving me with partial detailing on what I've been through in that house. Talking about how she spied on Tyler and Umber. It might have been possible due to the involvement of this pink-haired and green-eyed Asian girl Zakura Ichigo. Zakura could almost be the only rare visitor to her mansion so I suspect her involvement in our investigation." Detailed Zareena.

"Zakura Ichigo!" Spoke Umber lowering her heat that expressed the visible.

"Zakura Ichigo, she backstabbed Umber.
Umber believed Zakura to be one of her friends since Umber used to stay up regularly at night to make sure she was safe at home when no one else surrounded her and Umber out of her innocence almost gave her some information." Revealed Tyler while collecting those deep thoughts.

" Umber!
Seriously,
I didn't expect you to be so ridiculously careless.
Where exactly did you see this face? What did she do to fool you this awfully?" Spoke Leon representing his frustration for Umber's ignorance.

"I am sorry, Mr Harris,
I never had any bad intentions. With the depths of my innocent heart, I attempted to only save her, her route to home, and the abandoned bus she took. I wanted to help her and that's how we met. I trusted her, I helped her while she stood all alone by herself. I made sure such a person like her wasn't all alone under the deep night sky at the highway bus station waiting for the bus.

Completely unaware of the reality my tongue slipped with some delicate words." Continued Umber expressing her emotional statement.

"I wish I could make you quite work. So filthy on you Umber, you silly pig. I hate you and your ugly little face, Now Tyler speak for yourself, you useless bastard."

Tyler was left with intense guilt on his behalf, his gaze lowered as if he dragged Umber into a filth this messier. He held his expression low as if he was slowly preparing himself.
