Chapter 2

After sending Indra to her department, Helena once again was lazily sitting alone by herself in the interrogation room waiting for Quinton to show up any moment. Quinton and Helena share a well-known friendship with how they work and how often their path crosses at work.

And today while her lazy gaze got drawn over to the woman fully covered head to toe in her blue surgical gown and her face completely blocked against the disposable face mask so did she wear gloves over her fingers.

"Jesus, Quinton what were you doing before you decided to show up so casually?"

"I was performing a full body autopsy before I was asked to immediately approach you." Clarified Quinton.

"You better have your sleeves up clean, Monrey you are my new suspect over the case I am dealing with. And not even our friendship can save you now from being declared guilty. I promised long back to stay honest no matter what," joked Helena as soon as she saw her friend dressed and act serious.

"Helena, was it my autopsy? Did anyone complain about my autopsy? Or was I connected with any on-table surgery deaths? Was my connection here direct or indirect and I hardly believe I could mess up any procedures. I work harder for the sake of my patient or my victims lying on the table or the stretcher.

I am sadder, never have I ever heard any complaint from my previous patients and now this case complaint," spoke Quinton while her voice looked funny over her mask.

"Be calm Quinton, how could you ever doubt your performance? It's about a missing girl complaint. The parents of that girl seemed to know your name.

Quinton, I've learned from Zakura Ichigo's parents that you taught her."

"I might have taught a lot and I am into teaching for years. So if you are expecting me to know and describe everything about this girl. I don't even remember teaching her," interrupted Quinton

"She was not only your medical student but she trained forensics under your hands."

"Too bad of luck, since several have learned both from me."

"What about she is one of Dr. Indra's friends and batch mate."

"My students are always friendly. I maintain them selectively since you know I can't tolerate the picky ones and kick them out regardless."

"I also have a picture evidence,"

"I faintly memorize faces. I can say even if I see her I might not picture her as my student. Talking about students, can you please excuse me, my students are still immature and may mess up the analysis if I couldn't be there for their guidance." Spoke she in a requesting tone of voice. Helena couldn't find for herself a reason at this point to refrain her from leaving. She had her purpose for her choice to leave. Thinking to herself a bit, Helena pulled a halt to their ongoing conversation and allowed her to leave.

Helena only felt her time wasted while she communicated with Quinton.

In this case, she already felt the time running thin and was already wondering the situation the girl was in after being missing for so long. Thinking about everything made her dial on to Ismail immediately.
