Chapter 1

It rained cats and dogs throughout the time and gradually began to crease its pace. But it was already too late. Too late for the road since the road had some dense puddles that were quicksand. Within one of that puddles, that his tires got stuck and his car could no longer take in a move.

He sat ideally, realizing that his car got stuck in the heart of the place where her car was found rumbled upon by the fallen tree trunk.

His ginger hair were a mess, covering down his eyes and tears rolled apart from his hazel green eyes. He sat in his despair alone crying while he could no longer find his worth to fit in the group.

He lost Umber, the love of his life, and now his car got stuck at nowhere and he sat sobbing alone in the rain.

There were every one of them working harder to contribute that Tyler felt nonexistent to their attributes. His sadness and hopelessness with the sounds of rain crashing and rolling against his car window.

But a moment like a miracle approached so close to him that he felt nonexistent when the sweet, angelic, soft voice played around his deprived ears. Tyler knew who he heard right away.

It's too early to give up this way...

His heart rejoiced and his sad tears turned glad for once. It was Umber who had this pleasant voice when she spoke. His realization hit him right on the spot. His gaze turned blank and a soft chuckle slipped down his throat before he felt warm as someone hugged him in his car right at that rainy time.

The realization flushed upon his heart and his freckles turned red. His tears dried away that felt like being wiped off by her. Tyler could hear his heart beating over the exciting madness he caught over for the minute.

When a gentle breeze brushed against his warm body. Tyler could feel the pressure that snatched apart the locket that he kept safer in his pocket. The plate that would only remove when touched with Umber's necklace felt opened. By now his hazel eyes felt sure about the presence of her was neither any hallucination of his.

He could never stop his silent tears from gushing out when he recollected from his memories the moments they spent along and how they mattered to him. The pleasant smile of hers that his eyes longed for forever. Her ash eyes when she gazed upon him.

He felt cherished as if she was right with him, hugged him, and made him realize of her. The defeated he felt before and the courage his emotions for her gathered.

You are supposed to be my everything. I choose you because I saw the purest, most innocent, and humble passion in your eyes.

Never lose yourself in trying to find someone else. I have always been closer to your heart and will always be. I will shadow you from the troubles and I will always do.

I loved you for you were kind, generous, and hard-working at times.

I found the gem in you that you were unable to see. Now I want the world to acknowledge you, and stand up to you so you never hide the gem that is with you. Not anymore.

Be brave Tyler,
You are more than you limit yourself.

He opened his eyes, a hiccup from the air he held, his dead tears, and the still pouring rain. The wheels struck but his flames began, the puddle still got wider with all the rain.
