Horrific Upbringing.
Chapter 1His back rested beautifully against the elongated metal window grid and shattered glass window plates. The moonlight elegantly passed through his denser green eyes when his cold gaze met sparkly diamond hazel eyes. Tyler was in awe, his expressions revealing his startle when the boy gently spoke to him.
"Daddy,
You betrayed me,
You betrayed granny.
Your team is digging out our gravest secrets. The remains that Grandpa once hid.
You betrayed me,
You shall suffer;"His hollow soul floating opaque against the air, and his attempt to manifest himself deeply into Tyler.
With the kid's soul dominating Tyler's consciousness and sanity. Tyler could only hear him repeat his overused threat, 'You shall suffer.' Deeper in his consciousness. Alongside this threat that Damian recited, Tyler could feel the burden of his body gaining some extra weight, his knees growing weaker with passing seconds, his gaze turned blank as tears filled free in his tired hazel eyes. With a blink of an eye his fingers digging through his neck and his squeezing grip cutting down through his pale skin to rash, his mouth dragged down and his eyeballs pulled up. No free air and is more exhausted than he felt after running out of breath. His body is suffering from deoxygenation.
He shrunk himself with his back curved, his head slid ahead a bit, and his voice restricted. In the persisting silence, his body suffered while he curled himself on the cold dark floor. His soul is being snatched. The struggling him finally laid himself down cold resting with his eyes shoot up plain and white. Numb and cold against this blowing window. He lay unconscious body by the window, his body in the moonlight against the broken window door and the torch that was left a bit ahead from where his body lay down cold.
~~~Struck out within absolutely dark space or what is commonly called nowhere. Olivia projected her flashlight upwards to locate the hole that served as a medium for her supposed fall. The distance above was so far that the light dispersed above the head without completely picturing what was above.
~~~The higher pitch of the dog's barking was still so loud and clear even from the other side of the door. The dog struggled her hardest against Brian's firm grip, but she finally managed to break free from her harness. When the chain came out free, the loose broken chain slipped out against his loosened grip. Yolt managed to follow the faint light trace coming through the floor hole.
"Yolt, don't you scare me in this intense situation." Mumbling to himself Brian followed Yolt while pointing his flashlight parallel to observe Yolt's movements, without disturbing the dog's sight. Yolt has his keen gaze over the floor hole. After observing this huge hole that Yolt was curious about. Standing next to this dog, Brian felt cautiously aware about stumbling into this. The closer he stood to that hole, Brian could lower his gaze to the animal's height to look deeper into what this hole had hidden. To his dismay, his eyes landed on Olivia who continuously tried to shine her flashlight hoping help would arrive from her direction. Blood oozed from the broken skin gap of her forehead.
"Madame Kingsley stay where you are till I follow you down." Shouted Brian cupping his arms around his mouth. Gripping the dog's abdomen against his strong elbow while also gripping onto his flashlight miraculously. Tapping his flashlight bluntly against the ground, Brian could hear the clinking sound of the rusty metal trap door that bore the wider dent dead in its center. Casually sliding apart from the damaged trap door, Tyler pictured Olivia standing at the far end of the folded ladder. Shifting Yolt to his back. Yolt remained calm and humble while cooperating with Brian. Further lowering himself into the trap door while carrying Yolt and the flashlight. Brian carefully gripped the paddling, twisted ladder with one of his hands while the other supported Yolt on his back.
Observing the intense situation as Brian carefully placed his feet onto the slippery, slender wooden sticks, Yolt decided to reduce the burden Brian carried upon himself by carefully gripping the flashlight against her firm jaws while focusing down the foot of the ladder.
Once stepping on the rough ground, Brian eases his dog's grip. With the flashlight pressed against Yolt's jaws. Yolt ran away freely with the flashlight.
"Yolt took away the light." Mumbled Brian standing in complete shade. Expressing his hopelessness. Brian stood waiting for Olivia. His eyes look straight ahead. Brian's view got blocked with the sudden appearance of the light approaching him carried by a blurred female figure. Brian couldn't help but blink his eyes restlessly while holding his hands out ahead for the protection of his eyes.
"Olivia, your light is piercing through my eyes." Struggled Brian while trying to face away.
"I figured out the basement and was searching for my ways of approaching you while you people were still to reach. Olivia crossed her torch away from Brian's face. While the focus of Olivia's torch shifted over the other direction Brian freely opened his eyes wider in relaxation.
" Brian, we have to strictly proceed through this nightmarish evidence without wasting time." Spoke Olivia leading Brian towards the direction where he remembered Yolt disappearing. Dumbfounded by the dog's capability, Brian stood frozen with his mouth hanging open. "Follow me, Brian." Spoke Olivia, walking away from him.
'Wow! I underestimated my dog's brilliance.' Thought Brian while blindly following the light's movements. While heading in the direction of the flashlight, Brian remained speechless. The flashlight Olivia carried was flicked off.
"I could sense another flashlight from a lowered height against our flashlight and exactly onto that spot. I have turned off my flashlight to not reveal our identity and also to keenly observe their pattern." Continued Olivia in a silent hum. "But madame, don't you think the light is lowered un-naturally." Spoke Brian in an equivalent hum.
"Maybe someone could conceal themselves around the bodies while taking this torch to their favor?" Questioned Olivia with a doubtful expression. Walking ahead neither of them had any clue with the strange citing of the light lowered but slightly raised from the ground. As they slowly paved their way ahead while glaring at the light orb more clearly, they could sense the change in the direction of the light by a slight tilt to the source. As the rays from the flash brushed through what was clear as mummified humans both Brian and Olivia had their goosebumps raised due to the insignificant horror view.
"So terrifying here," claimed Brian with a clear and sharply formed speech delivered through his sharp male voice. Even though Brian's face was covered in the sheer darkness, however, Olivia could make out the disgusted expression that was spread all over Brian's face towards the sight. Coming further near the torch made them listen to the audible grunt of the animal. "Yolt surely is far more intelligent than we assumed about him." Muttered Brian walking straight ahead and in the meantime while the mystery of the flashlight was all solved. Olivia without any hesitation turned on her flashlight. Silently patting Yolt's head expressing her satisfaction towards the dog. Brian stepped ahead to investigate the scene.
"3 mummified bodies, that look like a female and the two male bodies, undergoing difference in their reiger mortez reveals the gap in their death time. These bodies have remained dead for long enough for the skin and flesh to stiffen. Even the maggots have far left the bodies in the state of mummification."
