Chapter 2Casually seated on the chair of a gradually empty room with just the bare minimalistic furniture, and parallelly built closed doors, Leon patiently waited for Dr. Quinton Monrey.
"Good morning, Dr. Monrey." He said as a lady with a dark skin complexion and curled black hair, wearing similar square specs and in a lab coat entered through the door frame.
"Good morning, Mr. Leon." She answered while taking her step in.
"Was the autopsy any brain fry," joked Leon, facing her.
"Not at all, I say it was tricky and a good experience for me," exclaimed Dr. Quinton, as she moved towards her seat while adjusting her blue plastic gloves.
"So sir, I have dug up several interesting leads for you," said she, Quinton prepared mentally, approached one of the either doors that were at the either side from behind her desk.
The door she opened was not so pleasant, it smelt horrible inside with all these stretchers to the sight and many of those metallic stretchers when looked onto have a body on it. Some with progress while some just left full covered. They walked around this new fond scape and with eye full of horror when Quinton just froze in her steps at the bed 7.
"We were quite worked up with the body you sent the the other day. I am glad at least you had something good for our sleeve.
First of all, from the histological details, each cellular tissue from head to toe had been severely disfigured underwater. We also zoomed in on many identical sea creatures from the histological samples various visceral cavities.
Apart from drowning, your victim has not been faced with any kind of physical trauma so the bone structure here are still pretty much intact. This speaks that the victim didn't struggle for life.
While undertaking all these circumstances one may partially think that the person died a natural death
However, the next interesting sight that I am going to disclose might give a whole new meaning to the case.
The victim's left ankle was bruised badly whereas the right ankle remained plain.
The bruise mark is so visible that even after the tremendous discoloration the bruise remained visible. This represents your victim being dragged into the water leaving him no time for the response. Judging by the fact that he couldn't give space for enough body moment implies his good bone condition and his immediate death. And continuing with the mind-blowing twist of this case.
I had spent some time measuring the ankle bruised mark and after running the measurements against my data books I felt disappointed at first for not finding a correct adult hand matching this gripping mark against this ankle but then I was completely taken off by the fact that this measurement completely fits to a toddler of up to 5 to 6 yrs. Just as his limbs became swollen this mark was also left swollen as well.
Crazy is it thinking how it co-relates." Spoke Mrs Quinton.
"Judging on all the scale and circumstances I hereby came upon this decision that this is not just an ordinary case and I barely doubt that a child's mentality can work this complex.
Judging upon this scenario. I can imagine this child to be a pawn to this cruelty." Spoke Leon in a firm voice.
Thanking Dr. Quinton, Leon walked out of her office politely.
