Chapter 2

Funeral Day:
It was finally the day for everyone to gather for a mass funeral which was just a result of the single case. The family funeral, in this case, both fresh and older dead bodies were worked up so the authorities managed to perform a simple yet unreligious funeral practice for all the dead bodies.

The graveyard land was more like a park with overgrown grass, climbers on the gate, and all the other metal parts and trees spouting casually almost everywhere. On the land of the funeral and almost six shallow up to six feet cavities were dug in the ground for the slow coffin insertion. None of the people from the small crowd were from the family of the dead as the lady almost lived alone and when it comes to the late Rosalin Denim, the mother of the late Frank Denim she was already dead soon after learning of her son's passing. The colleagues among themselves decided to host a funeral in honor of the victims. Fortunately for the late Frank Denim, His mother late Rosalin Denim was also buried on the same land before him.

None of the crowd truly seemed to mourn their death except a few, the Ichigo's mostly the daughter.

Coffins were lowered into the respective graves slowly. The crowd all dressed in black except for Noah Jacob, still due to her medical reasons, were all on the ground witnessing the process.

Frank Denim, the son of Rosalin Denim was buried next to his mother's grave. And the graves of Albert's and Barden's were designed next to one another for at least having the families in a line.

When everything was almost done and the mud-filled up the caskets under the ground, that was the time Zakura realized that it was her last chance to see the old woman for whom she worked. The reality scattered her to tears she couldn't help but kneel on the ground with tears strolling down her face. The young lady couldn't help herself from the distress, neither could her parents support her sadness. She was the only one sobbing out of grief on the old lady's behalf whereas the rest were just there to attend.

Unable to see the poor girl in pain, Olivia tried to console her and make her a bit at ease to speak, and then she spoke.

"I am crying for the angelic Annie, the merciful, the one who helped me settle, the one who provided me with a financial scope, the one who was also a bridge of income for me. She was just like any other guardian but she was all I need, she supported my family, not only me but she was also a relief to my family. My mother, my father, and the treatment that we could bear for him were all possible due to her. We relied on her totally, for her deeds she would be remembered forever."

Feeling gracious for the poor family, Olivia was gracious enough to provide her family financial support in emergencies to console Zakura but every time her ash eyes glared over her green eyes, Umber was sadly reminded of the time when her goodness was used for good and since then she was left with a bad aftertaste for her.

After finishing the case and facing the funeral Umber and her squad agreed proudly upon some of the psychiatric sessions at Ashley's calling it a psychiatric squad reunion along with Monty as an extra as could be imagined.

The squad stuck together always while walking in and out and were the most cheerful among the crowd both in and out of the session hours. Most of the other people looked up to them and also while they were still seated during their last session in the small room filled with attendees, these friends still stuck among themselves.

Usually, the attendees are made to sit on the desk for one with a book, pen, and a water bottle throughout the session so they could make a copy of what generally Ashley teaches them. And on this specific day even though her ears were dominating the lecture but her ash eyes could only glare at Tyler's desk, looking through his still childish activities for a grown man.
