The Beginning.
Chapter 1

Police training academy.:

The police training academy is a very well constructed building that prepared the youth regardless of their nationality, tradition and skin colour the virtues of dealing with crime, physical exercises, defence techniques, hand to hand combat, boxing, handling of ballistic, chemical explosives, sedatives, how to handle k9, medical forensics, Reiger mortez on the corpse and every little detail regardless of the crime and the scene.

Students here are grouped in their interests, the first category falls under on scene analysts or the scene investigators, some other categories include off scene analysts or the lab investigators, the shot analyst or ballistic identifier, and forensics portrait artists the rare category.

With all the diverse scopes, the dorm rooms provided in this huge vicinity are completely safe and distanced. Every dorm room is designed to maintain shared privacy and make the student feel at home and every dorm room can hold 2 students each.

One early morning day within the darkened and cold bedroom of the female room zone, where both the friends were calmly having the relaxed time of their life sleeping, the alarm from one of the girl's nightstand started blowing off loud. The girl in her still drowsy state pushes herself to put the alarm off. Putting the light of her bedside lamp on, Umber with still in her tired state walks over to the calendar while rubbing her ash eyes vigorously. Glaring at the still dark calendar, Umber in her confused state of mind still glares at the January page. The calendar page also had this old highlight on the 1st of the date that read 'selection day.'

Within her still drowsy state Umber couldn't realise the lights were bright and she has woken her friend off.

"Still sore over our failure," joked her friend sitting on her bed as she plunged her pillow over her direction that almost hitting her softly in the back. Her friend wickedly glared with her bright ash eyes and her wide grin.

"No, you have taken me wrong I wanted to measure the gap of the time." Spoke Umber as she stretches her muscles and lets out a deep yawn while turning all the way around to face Zareena.

"Umber, we are friends. We share the same dorm room so we are more like a family, you understand me indisputably, I do the same for you and now within your deepest lies of being tough, I see you are completely whithered from not getting yourself into a job unlike me.

I know being the child of great heroes leaves you a burden to surpass them and sometimes thoughts can grow even nastier with higher expectations." Spoke Zareena looking at her friend's eye bags underneath her gorgeous ash eyes.

"Not always true my friend, I have accepted defeat way longer to start fresh." Spoke Umber walking back to her bunk bed as she almost crashed her back on the soft, thin mattress.

"So that's why you have been training harder way past time all these days up to morning, you clearly wanted to be selected in this year's ceremony. Don't you?" Hearing Zareena speak facts, Umber had no choice but to face her ash eyes which in turn stared directly into her ash eyes. Umber sat upright on her bunk bed to speak to Zareena.

"Facts are facts if I get a job or get recruited as a police officer. I would already cross another milestone in the journey of my life. Zareena, it's been the end of March month and we are still trying harder to push our fate to the recruitment despite all of our batch mates having been selected. Practising with juniors pushed me my hardest on what I felt were my weaknesses so that I could excel through the academics for the selection." Spoke Umber casually lowering her still sleepy head.
