Today was the final day of Umber's stay at the hospital and Umber was still going through her regular checkups with the nurse when the nurse finally spoke to Umber with a happy expression to congratulate her on her speedy recovery.

"Congratulations Umber,

You have given your best with our treatment and we are very happy about that. With the 3 months course of treatment that we have put you through you would finally be discharged. We have put your discharge summary on hold just for this test and after I am satisfied with the test even after your discharge, I won't completely leave you to yourselves. You can call on me whenever like a sister and I will be visiting till the 3rd of October. Your limbs are still healing, even tho I recommend you a wheelchair for your comfort, if you want even more speedy recovery go for cripples instead." Spoke the nurse as she felt satisfied with the results from the tests done. The nurse had her timer ready for displaying the patient's time limit and when the timer went off, she reminded Umber to walk into the waiting room to see off her family in there. She disclosed her about her discharge details, her visiting days, and scheduled time and walked off by her schedule. Before seeing off with the nurse, Umber made sure she asked her what she felt at that moment.

"Is this real, and is my family waiting outside for me? How surprising is it that they already know my discharge day even before me?" Spoke Umber.

Being used to using cripples, but for her, it was still hard to open her room door, walk through the dimly lit but narrow corridor, and mainly to cross through the adjacent staircase to meet her family.

Umber was surprised to her friends, family, and office team including her higher-ups waiting for her to be discharged from the hospital. Everyone revealed their happy faces upon her arrival and among them was a new face with which Umber was partially familiar of due to her uncanny resemblance with her higher-up Noah Jacob who was still absent from the gathering due to her medical reason. Apart from her appearance, the lady looks a bit younger and her fashion sense was a bit upgraded from Noah's.

"Myself Abbey Jayden, younger sister of Noah Jacob. We previously used to share the same surname Catherine before our marriage like Noah Catherine and Abbey Catherine. You can call me any name you want and I am here to present a gift for you on behalf of my sister's absence. Since we hardly know each other it might look uncommon." Spoke Abbey politely. Olivia to made her congratulation on her speedy recovery and she on behalf of the entire team wished Umber to continue working casually while still being crippled. Zareena was also there to admire her friend's recovery. Caroline had to grant her daughter permission to resume her work after the discharge.

Even Danielle, her father wanted to gift his daughter a very unexpected gift for the day. He gifted her the car that she was looking up to since her driver's license approval.

And in the home, while driving through her new car, Umber realized that she had lived enough of the happiness unexpectedly and she was scared that she want to relive the moment again and again.

In the home, while cutting the cake of her speedy recovery, Umber could only expect one person who could mock her through the image of her crippled and on the hospital bed on her cake. It was her dad who did that to her in front of all her higher-ups and everyone. Umber was shy but happy because of her father's bold decision. But deep down Danielle knew who wanted to mock their daughter that badly, Caroline Penelope, her mother.
