Tales of Dead
Chapter 1

Water clogged through her old eyes, and bubbles emerged to the top. Then she heard a pleasant child-like voice from around.

"Grandma, allow me to stay by your side in this silent still water."

Searching everywhere restlessly for this voice, Annie turned her face around in blind directions.

"Damian;
Damian, where are you?
I am restless to see you, without you, this cruel, silent world can no longer be my relative." Whispered Annie in her old fragile voice.

"As I expected, granny Annie. You never disappoint me, even after my demise." Spoke the child while partially taking his existing child-like existence within the waters as he extended his partially sparkly arms for a permanent hug. Annie's old body lined perfectly within the hallow perfect light of the child's still innocent spirit. A perfect hug with her last breath.

"Annie, I am going to end your game. Count your remaining days," spoke Umber with her teeth clenched and her strong carved boots stomping down the baby green grass. Exhaling her exhaustion into the calm infinite void, the bright sky. Umber rushed her steps in the direction of the swamp. For her assurance, Umber first crossed her ash eyes glaring at everything above water and below as well. On the sight of a blurred old body, Umber caught a breath of relief before pushing herself freely for a perfect dive leaving behind the trial of floaty, sparkly diamond dust against the golden sunlight. Umber swam in the direction where she happened to notice the blurred image even though she was about to reach her and in her peripheral vision her appearance remained blurred, Umber couldn't make an effort to swim.

For a moment her ash eyes had to distance from the lifeless sinking body to the much-horrified appearance that made her react with the swift movement.

Those green eyes, those green eyes met with her ash eyes again.

"Mommy,
Grandma has accepted me,
Now it's your turn to accept me as your own."

Out of her fear, Umber tried to paddle and retrace her steps back. Even after swerving around Umber could not escape from the cold grip that froze her body and jammed her legs.

"Someone help!
Tyler, Olivia madame"

She managed to speak out while letting some water in.

"Sir Harris, I cannot feel but happen to be more concerned for Umber."

"Sir, madame. I cannot find her around. Can anyone among you direct me?" Questioned Tyler with anxious and awaiting hazel eyes. Rolling his eyes when Leon stared away from the diary only to gesture the direction in which Umber walked off after Annie. Tyler calmly but in his eagerness rushed himself over the direction.
~~~
Indirectly searching in every direction, Tyler ended up near the swamp as the last option. Tyler he'd to dive into the peaceful water once again after his successful attempt to save Monty.
~~~

Tyler's eyes wandered around restlessly in the water as he heard what felt like this soft childish voice.

"Since mommy is on the way to accept me why not you, daddy." Looking into his green eyes for a moment and then glancing away to face both the motionless bodies, Tyler couldn't figure out and control the unknown force of grip that held him deep underwater.

Annie's Diary :

'Myself Annie Lemòn.

I have been satisfied to live an adorable peaceful life. Having merciful parents like my parents (Gilbert Lemòn and Henna Lemòn) was the longing dream of every child. I always looked up to my dad's hard work and shaded myself underneath the kind heart of my gracious mom. I remember wanting to grow up as my parents with my baby brain.

My daughter (Betty Albert) was another earnest form of my mother (Henna Lemòn). Betty in turn had an adorable child or son mostly my grandson (Damian Bardens) who was the replica of his mother and my daughter Betty.

My life was busy with my nostrils filling up with industrial smoke as I helped my dad regularly with loading and unloading tons of material each day. Never in my life have I imagined that the green eyes my naive mind once complimented would turn into my life's worst nightmare. With most polite words I could use but those deadly green eyes made me see things that were unpleasant to my slender heart.

My life story started in the household of Gilbert and Henna Lemòn. An expectedly rich and privileged household.

Eating and helping my mom would have been considered the first-ever milestone that I am glad I lived through. Those nostalgic days with my tummy filled with my mother's delicacies. All the artful meals she prepared for her family and the driving sound of the expressing radio next to my dad and gladly watching television while playing with my toys as my dad spent time on his rocking chair reading papers. Even though my dad could easily provide me with the wealthiest lifestyle deep down he exactly pictured what I loved the most. Waiting in line to get on the double-decker busses while holding my immensely precious stuffed giraffe. I heard every polite mention from my mother during her deepest phone conversation to travelling out of the dark narrow tunnels to the everlasting beauty of green during some of our rare train journeys. While my eyes landed on the calm and stable lakes, I could still feel and miss that pure, innocent childhood vision I once had. The everlasting peace,

Those green eyes I remember cane into my life only to take away my childhood innocent vision till my hair turned grey.

Memorizing a particular day,
While our carriage was ready on its tracks with the freshly harvested hard work of our in the form of raw coal.
Lying on the cart when my father was directing, I still couldn't forget the shades of the changing sky as my tired self lay upon the rough coal as the train passed slowly and soundly through the rail tracks.

We were on the way to our coal factory. I always used to wonder why television portrays such a dulled-down black-and-white image of the sky while the sky is always immensely colorful. The greener shades of life and the eyes even coldly greener.

'Gartord Albert' was he. The boy with pretty green eyes. Even though I disliked my dad appointing children of the same age as I, to work alongside my dad. I had to accept it as my dad was not willing to change his mind.
