Ser Jorah Mormont tells Ser Barristan Selmy, Ser Arthur Dayne and Olyos how he was knighted at the end of the Greyjoy Rebellion, in which they both fought. "It was a bitch of a siege."

"Mm, you were first through the breach at Pyke?"asked the oldest knight.

Jorah explains that he was the second man through the breach during the Siege of Pyke, right behind Thoros of Myr, who charged in headlong waving about his flaming sword. "Thoros of Myr. Bloody madman. Robert knighted you after the battle?" Added ser Barristan.

"Proudest moment of my life. One knee in the dust, the king's sword on my shoulder, listening to the words. 'In the name of the Warrior, I charge you to be brave.' All I could think of was how badly I had to piss."

"Robert might not have been as bad as Aerys but he was not a good king, warrior yes, king not even close, and i liked him, but that was before. Before he bore such hatred towards innocent women and children just because of the House they were born into." Added Ser Arthur to the conversation, making Ser Barristan agree with him, "I burned away my years fighting for terrible kings."

"You swore an oath." Tried to defended Ser Jorah.
But the oldes knight went on to say that yes. And a man of honor keeps his vows, even if he's serving a drunk or a lunatic. Just once in his life before it's over, he want to know what it's like to serve with pride, "to fight for someone I believe in.

"Do you believe in her?" The question, asked by Srer Jorah, was now directed to Ser Arthur Dayne, who had raised the young queen.

"With all my heart. She was born to do this."

Ahead of the knights Rhaenya and Daenerys wait for Missandei.

"These are the ones?"

" Yes, khaleesi. The officers."

A score of Unsullied march and halt in front of them.

"You did not choose this life. But you are free men now. And free men make their own choices. Have you selected your own leader from amongst your ranks?" Questioned the queen.

The Unsullied part, revealing their chosen leader, Grey Worm.

Rhaenya asks the man to remove his helmet, who after doing it walks forward, head bowed. He then looks up at Rhaenya and Daenerys.

"This one has the honor."

"What is your name?" Question's Rhaenya

The unsullied wastes no time in replying "Grey Worm."

The Khaleesi is confused, but her niece seems to understand and is unfased.
"Grey Worm." Repeats the still confused youngest Targaryen.

Rhaenya, sensing her aunt's confusion as to why someone would have such name proceeds to explain that all Unsullied boys are given new names when they are cut- Grey Worm, Red Flea, Black Rat. Names that remind them what they are- vermin.

She had had the same reaction when, leaving Myr Gannicus introduced her to every single unsullied, she had wantes to meet the people who were fighting alongside her willingly. And just like Grey Worm, they all had cruel names.

Understanding, Daenerys simply nods, as her niece says, "From this day forward you will choose your own names. You will tell your fellow soldiers to do the same. Throw away your slave name. Choose the name your parents gave you, or any other. A name that gives you pride."

But the unsullied leader is quick to say that the name Grey Worm gives him pride. "It is a very lucky name. The name this one was born with was cursed. That was the name he had when he was taken as a slave. But Grey Worm is the name this one had the day Rhaenya Dragonheart and Daenerys Stormborn set him free."

Niece, aunt and translator smile, and Rhaenya informs Grey Worm that when they arrive to Yunkai he will meet Gannicus, a Myrish man who helped the unsullied of the city, and will co-lead the unsullied as a whole.

Jorah, Dayne, and Barristan lead their horses. Olyos had gone to join the woman who was like a sister and to better know her aunt and new friend/translator Missandei.

"King Robert wanted them dead." Ser Jorah casually said as the three men lead their horses to the river where they could drink some water.

"Of course he wanted her dead. They are Targaryen. The last Targaryens." Agreed the oldest Knight.

"I suppose no one on the small council could speak sense to him."continued the Mormont man, but Ser Barristan tolf him that he didn't sit on the small council, a fact that shocked both Jorah and Arthur for the lord of the kingsguard traditiomally is part of the king's council.

"Traditionally, yes, but I killed a dozen of Robert's friends during his rebellion. He didn't want advice on how to govern from a man who had fought for the Mad King. Can't say I minded much. I always hated the politics." Exaplained Selmy as they mount their horses.

They begin to ride alongside the marching Dothraki and Unsullied.

"Yeah, I imagine I would, too. Hours spent jabbering about backstabbings - and betrayals the world over." Added Ser Arthur Dayne to which both men agreed.

"Still, she'll have to wade through that muck if she wants to rule the Seven Kingdoms." Commented Jorah, although in the beginning he was a bit reluctant of Rhaenya Targaryan, for he was loyal to a fault to his khaleesi, he had come to respect the queen.
A woman who knew all those who fought with her. A woman who avoided killing if she could.

"She'll have good men around her to advise her, men with experience." Told them Ser Arthur Dayne with Ser Barristan telling Jer Jorah that the former lord of bear island's reputation in Westeros has suffered over the years.

"It suffered for a reason. I sold men into slavery." Said the Mormont man. But the old Knight also added that Jorah's presence in the queen's court might not be helpful to their cause.

Jorah not liking what he was listening aggressively spat "Our cause? Forgive me, Ser Barristan, but I was busy defending the khaleesi, and Ser Arthur was protecting the queen against King Robert's assassins, and while you were still bowing to the man."

"Sers, we all want queen Rhaenya to rule, and the Khaleesi Daenerys is now safe. Am I wrong? So let's focus on what is important, protect them and get them home" The Dayne man ended the discussion and tension between the two other knights. They all agreed, besides now the two Targaryens were happy, they noted as they saw the queen, khaleesi, Missandei and Olyos laughing ahead of them.

Rhaenya watched and listened amused as Olyos told stories to Daenerys and Missandei.

"There i was, in a barn with nothing but a cheese on my side yelling how i had finally found a wife, but she was to smelly." The three girls laughed.

"were you always this naive Ser Olyos?"
Wondered Daenerys with a smile, she found Olyos funny and kind he seemed like the kind of brother she wished Viserys had been.

"oh please khaleesi, just Olyos i am yet to be knighted formaly, besides all my friends call me Olyos. And think so when i was little i actually believed that if i ate the seed of a fruit. The tree would grow inside me." He told them.
Making everyone within a earshot laugh.
