FIRE AND ICE - ROBB STARK X TARGARYEN OC

PROLOGUE

The whole seven kingdoms were in complete chaos. Screams could be heard on the streets, cries for help but mostly cries of war.

After prince Rhaegar Targaryen had kidnapped lord Robert Baratheon's bride, the lady Lyanna of house Stark, her older brother Brandon rode to kingslanding demanding the release of his sister and death of the crown prince. King Aerys II, also known as the mad king, arrested Brandon and summoned his father, Rickard Stark, to the capital to ransom him. But as soon as the Lord of winterfell arrived to kingslanding he too was arrested for treason. Rickard stark, as a last resort, demanded trial by combat, but the kings madness was too much for he, head of house targaryen claimed fire as his champion and burned the warden of the north and his heir in the middle of the throne room.

After such atrocities had been commited, Eddard Stark, now head of his house, and Robert Baratheon started a rebellion that was supported by most of the great houses.

Robert Baratheon met the dragon prince in the trident but the crown prince stood no chance against the Stag's warhammer. And so in the cold waters of the river Rhaegar Targaryen met his fate.

Meanwhile in the Tower Joy Eddard Stark stood in front of his dying young sister, who handed him child and a secret as she took her last breath.

Upon learning the death of his beloved lady Lyanna and with the Lannister army at his back, Robert ordered a siege to the capitol, and the deposition of the mad king. The members of the rebellion had bent the knee to Robert Baratheon, as he was the one to defeat the Targaryen prince and his mother had been a targaryen descendent.

Hower once Robert arrived to the throne room he was met with the corpse of the Targaryen king who had a sword on his back, and sitting in the great iron throne was Jamie lannister, firstborn to Tywin Lannister, kingsguard to Aerys and now a kingslayer.

Before the Baratheon king or the other lords could say anything, Tywin appeared before them with Ser Gregor clegone, also known as "the mountain", who dropped the bodies of Elia Martell and her two children, her firstborn and son Aegon and her daughter Rhaenys.
"Kill them myself my lord, you should have seen it, the bitch cried for her babes safety while i had my way with her ahahah" boasted the Mountain.

Robert simply snarled, "and the dragonspawns?", to his question tywin simply answered "the oldest girl was stabbed multiple times, Ser Gregor bashed the boy's head 100 times against the wall and the other girl was burned along with her septa".
"Good." Was all the Baratheon had to say. Not far Eddard Stark had a look of disgust in his face, sure Rhaegar and Aerys Had to die but Elia and her children were innocent.

"Something wrong Lord Stark?" Asked Tywin, "The princess Elia and the Children were innocent." "THEY WERE A DRAGON'S BITCH AND DRAGONSPAWNS NED, AND ONE DAY THEY WOULD BECOME JUST LIKE THEIR FATHER AND GRANDFATHER." Screamed Robert in anger at his friend.

Just then Jon Arryn friend and mentor to both Ned and Robert asked "what of queen Rhaella and the prince Viserys?"
"Fuck, i had almost forgotten about them" the Stag lord said, "The mad king sent them to dragonstone", to this anwer every head turned to the young Lannister, whose sword was still in the dead kings back, Tywin nodded to his son and turned to Robert "We can be there withing 2 days."

"Its no use my lord", said a new calm voice in the room. "What do mean lord Varys?" The lord of winterfell didn't want to believe that the good queen Rhaella, who many believed to be with child, and her son were also dead. To the question the spider answered "My little birds sing songs of how when Stannis baratheon arrived there the queen was already dead..." "Good riddance" someone grumbled, "No my lord, what i am saying is that the queen was already dead, but she gave birth to a girl and even named her Daenerys Stormborn right before she succumbed, now the babe and the young prince were smugled out of the country i believe they are no longer on this side of the narrow sea." "Find them and kill them", was all the new king said.

Hours later a small child of three covered in nothing but ash looked around what was once her room, all was left were ashes, the bones of her septa and burned wood.

Rhaenya got up and covered herself with what was once a curtain she made sure nobody could see her face and left the castle that she once called home.

When she was about to turn around the red keep she collided with another body, a man who looked down at her and gasped "princess Rhaenya? You're alive?" It was Ser Arthur Dayne, one of her grandfather's kings guard, Rhaenya wasted no time in hugging the man who had always been kind to her and her family.

The knight dragged the princess to an abandoned wooden merchant carriage, told her to be quiet for they were going to leave and search for safety, gathered his horse and rode away.

Once they had finally reached Dorne, they stopped for the night to rest and so that the horse could rest.
Arthur climbed inside the carriage and asked Rhaenya what happened to her and how she had managed to escape the massacre that had wiped almost an entire dynasty.

"I was so afraid Ser, he locked me and spta lysane in my room and set it on fire, spta started screaming like she was hurt and when i woke up, there was nothing left but me. "

At the mention of surviving a fire, unhurt and unburnt the knight knetlt,
"you truly are the dragon your grace" whispered the knight in amazement but also pride.
Rhaenya looked confused at the title, but decided not toquestion him.

The next day they waited for the safety of the dornish night to continue their travel to, acording to Ser Arthur
who disguised himself as a merchant, and rode towards the residence of the princes of Dorne.
Once at the doors of Sunspear, the knight was met with guards who, because of the war going on, pointed their spears towards him. "I come in peace and bring to the prince of Dorne his sister's little dragon", confused by such sentence the younger guard went inside and warned the mourning royals.

Upon listening to the message, Oberyn, Elia's younger brother, ordered the man inside. "Who are you and how dare you memtion my sister and her daughter" he spat.
Ser Arthur simply took off his cloak revealing his identity.
"Ser Arthur? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be dead?" "Perhaps but if you follow me jus to your doors you will know that i have something very important to show you and your brother" answered the knight.
The prince hesitated but nodded and followed the man who
Was as close as a brother to the bastard who broke his sister's heart and caused her and her children's ultimate demise.

Once outside the knight warned the prince "careful, she is still in quite a shock", with a confused look on his face the prince simply nodded and waited to see what was inside small caravan.

But his eyes grew five times, for inside the poorly constructed wooden merchant carriage was his niece Rhaenya, Elia's little dragon.

An: in my story rhaenya is the middle child of elia and rhaegar. She will eventually team with daenerys and daenerys wont be a mad queen.
