"Open gates!" A man shouts in Winterfell.

The gates are opened. Sansa, Baelish, and a number of knights on horseback gallop through. They stop. Theon watches from nearby through some metal bars, trembling.

Baelish gets off of his horse. Roose, Ramsay, and Walda watch as Sansa gets off hers. Roose walks forward. Baelish leads Sansa towards him, rubbing her hands.

"Lady Sansa, welcome." The man who put a dagger in her brother's chest welcomes, as if nothing had happened.

After a tense moment, Sansa smiles and curtsies.

"Lord Bolton." She greets him with a smile.

"May I introduce my son, Ramsay Bolton?" Roose stands aside so that she can see the young man.

Ramsay smiles and walks forwards, removing his gloves. Sansa smiles at him.
"It's an honor to meet you, my Lady."

He takes her hand and kisses it. Nearby, Myranda and other women watch.

Inside the hallway an old servant woman leads Sansa down a hallway to her chambers. She opens the door.

"I'll bring you a bowl of hot water. You must want to wash." The woman tells the Stark girl who just thanks her.

Before leaving the woman quietly tells Sansa "Welcome home, Lady Stark. The North remembers."

Sansa watches as the woman leaves.

At castle Black Melisandre tells Stannis of what he must do if he wishes to sit on the iron throne.

The man looks filled with uncertainty, for what the woman asks of him is not an easy task for a father.

"Isn't there any other way?" Stannis questions her, Missandei only shakes her head. "It is the only way. A sacrifice must be made of your blood."

"Very well. Lets do get it over with." He says before exiting the room.

At the mess hall, Lord Commander Jon Snow asks Sam about Maester Aemon
"He apologizes for not being here. He's not feeling well." His friend tells him.

Jon begins assigning roles to members of the Watch. He assigns one black brother to oversee the digging of a new latrine pit to accommodate the wildling prisoners; he jokes that it 'seems like a good job for a ginger,' which the brother takes with a grin and laughs with the others.

Snow also shows respect to Ser Alliser Thorne by appointing him as the new First Ranger, commending his experience.

Finally, Lord Commander Snow assigns Janos Slynt with the task of restoring and manning the abandoned castle Greyguard.
"Lord Janos. I'm giving you command of Greyguard."

Janos scoffs and complains Greyguard is a ruin.

"Yes, the fort is in a sorry state. Restore it as best you can. First Builder Yarwyck can spare ten of his..." Jon says but Janos interrupts him.

"I was charged with the defense of King's Landing when you were soiling your swaddling clothes. Keep your ruin."

"You mistake me, my Lord. That was a command, not an offer. Pack your arms and armour, say your farewells, and ride for Greyguard." Jon states trying to show that he is the one in charge.

Janos stands up, and angrily shouts "I will not go meekly off to freeze and die! Give it to one of the fools who cast a stone for you. I will not have it. Do you hear me, boy? I will not have it!"

Without loosing his temper Jon asks one last time "Are you refusing to obey my order?"

Slynt flippantly tells Jon that he can take his order and 'shove it up his bastard arse.'
