Siege Of the Reach Part 1

After the death of Tommen Cersei was never the same, sure she had always been bitter, cruel and power hungry, but now with the lost of her sweet boy, her youngest child there was a new cold demeanor. She only had one child left and she would destroy everyone who stood between her and her sweet little girl Myrcella.

Right now the lioness of the Rock was about to be crowned queen of the seven kingdoms. She enters, escorted by five great sellswords and the now queensguard. The room is full of nobles and city soldiers. Qyburn stands next to the Iron Throne, holding a crown. Cersei approaches the throne and stands in front of it, not really noticing her twin lover entering through a side passage and watching.

"I now proclaim Cersei of the House Lannister First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms." Qyburn states and places the crown on Cersei's head. The Lannister woman sits in the Iron Throne. She and Jaime look at each other, but nobody seems to notice how her wrist suffers a cut from the throne. As all present shout. "Long may she reign."

Jaime does not waste much time with his sister. He know that by now Rhaenya's forces have reached Castely Rock and he cannot lose time. So he gathers his men. Almost more than 10.000 along with the 7000 men Leiton Hightower brought with him, not to mention the raven he had received before he left Kingslanding. It said that the Tarly forces were ready to attack at his command. This gave hope and in his opinion would be easy. With Randyll Tarly on his side, along with the Hightowers and the Lannister armies, taking Hightower would be easy. Speacially since the golden roses were not known for their fighting skills. Not to mention that with the diversion of Castely Rock most of the Targaryen armies would be in the East.

The road leading to Highgarden is filled with men and carriages. Lannister and Hightower soldiers are marching towards to Highgarden, only to stop when they see bannermens from Houses Tyrell and Tarly ahead of a vast army of at least 30 thousand men.

"Halt." Jaime ordered as he and Bronn marched to meet Loras Tyrell and Randyl tarly.

"It seems you are a traitor to the crown lord Tarly." Jaime stated, he was angry that was for sure, his entire plan was mostly based on the fact that Randyll Tarly would fight for Cersei.

"The only traitor here is you and that scum next to you. Robert Baratheon usurped the throne, then your bastard sons sat on it and now it is your sister. None of you have right over the Iron Throne. And House Tarly is not an oath breaker. We are sworn to House Tyrell, and we shall remain for as long as the sun rises in the east." The Tarly patriarch stated.

Jaime was becoming impatient. "There is no need for bloodshed my lord. Queen Cersei has the golden company on its way. Soon Rhaenya Targaryen will be dead and.. "

"Dead? The Dragon queen has seven dragons at her disposal, armies that make yours look like ants. Aegon the conqueror only needed three dragons unite the seven kingdoms, how long do you think it will take for her to crush your sister?" Loras spoke for the first time.

"Very well if it is blood you want than blood you shall have. After all we all know how well the roses of the Reach fight." Jaime stated before turning his horse back to his forces, with Bronn following. As the Tarly and Tyrell men did the same.

Once out of reach Bronn turned to Jaime. "You know i will not fight to be killed. I heard that old man is even better than your father was. So keep your gold i will not die for this."

The Lannister man became angry, yes there was a strong chance his father was already dead, but he would keep fighting. For Cersei and Myrcella. But he also knew that Bronn was an incredible swordsman and he needed him. "Look around more than half of their men are Tyrell soldiers, their fighting is mediocre at best. The Tarly will be a challenge but he is not invincible. If you fight with me i will make sure you get Highgarden." The Lannister man sucessfully convinced Bronn.
