The sun was starting to rise in the horizon, when a boat came to shore. A man jumped off the embarcation and offered his hand to the young lady that had acompanied him.
As soon as the young woman's feet touched the sand, the fake knight knew what he had to do. The instructions given to him had been quite clear. Get the Baratheon girl out of Dorne and kill her as soon as they arrived to Kings landing. It's not as if he had no heart, hell he had a child of his own, but with war going on for years now, there was no money, the crops were dying due to the invitable upcoming winter and what little they had was taken to the Capital. The great Houses fought amongst themselves for a chair made of swords while people like him had to starve, pay taxes or fight somebody else's battles.

So there was no better option.

"We are still quite far from the Red Keep." Myrcella turned and asked the knight that had "rescued" her from Dorne. She noted the man standing by the carriage with her family's banner that would taker to her home.

"You will soon be home princess, i promise." The man said as he pulled the young girl and kissed her lips, shocking both the carriage driver and the blonde who wiped her lips as if to erase the action.
The rider was ready to pounce and defend the princess's honour, when she lifted a delicate hand to stop him.

"Thousand apologies my princess. Its just that you are so beautiful. I could not help myself. Please forgive me." The assassin said as he knelt. And it was true. Myrcella was a beautiful and he was sorry, but the apology was not for the kiss but for what was about to happen to the poor lady.
"It is alright, i suppose we all succumb to our urges."
This made the false knight feel even worse. Such pure and kind soul was about to leave the awful world. Well perhaps it was for the best and now it was done within a couple of minutes Myrcella Baratheon would be dead. And he, according to the man who had orchestrated the entire plan, would be on a ship with his family to Volantis.

However not everything is as it seems, and as Myrcella rode towards Kingslanding, on a carriage that had been prepared to pick her up, seconds after the false knight drank the "cure" to the poison that had been used on the poor creature, the assassin noticed blood coming out of his nose. And before long he fell on the ground lifeless. Leaving no loose ends.

Cersei never trully considered herself a monster. For a true monster did not know love. And the lioness of the Rock did. She loved all her children. Every single one of them. And now with Joffrey and Tommen gone all there was left was Myrcella. Her sweet little girl, pure as the first snow and flower of spring.
Which was why when Petyr Baelish wrote to her that he had heard from his spies that the old lion of the Rock had managed for the young princess to be brought back into the safety of the Red Keep, Cersei was ecstatic. Her father's death had not been in vain, he had managed one last great gift to House Lannister.

As she sat drinking her glass of wine, thinking that within an hour she would have her sweet baby child in her arms. She had already learned of the great defeat they had suffered at Highgarden. Apparently House Tarly were turncloaks and fought for that old toad Olenna Tyrell. The lioness queen scoffed at the thought. She should have gone ahead with her plan let them all burn inside the stupid sept of Baelor.

But it didn't matter because for the first time since Tommen's death Cersei was actually happy.
"Your Grace. A carriage has just entered the Red Keep. It holds the Banner of House Baratheon." One of her guards told her, giving the golden haired beauty the most sincere woman smile in years.

Cersei ran as fast as her feet could carry her still thinking of all the things she and Myrcella could do and speak about together. As soon as she reached the gates of the Red Keep, the queen came to a halt and felt her life drain from her body.
For instead of a smilling gleaming Myrcella, Qyburn and two guards were carrying a bier that clearly carried the body of a young maiden in a fair pink dress. Although the body was covered with a thin sheet, the beautiful blonde hair strands of the Baratheon girl were visible.
"NO!NO!NO!NO!NO!" Cersei screeched in dispair. The guards, unsure of what to do looked at the master of whispers, nodded at them, discreetly, to put down the brier. He knew there would be no one to controle or console his queen, mayhaps her twin. But had yet to arrive from the Reach. So for now it was up to him to find out what happened to the poor girl and make sure Cersei got her vengence.
