The Lannister forces had arrived at Storm's End after five days of riding.
As soon as they arrived Tywin ordered the hates to be closed and all the archers to be prepared at the walls along with cauldrons filled with melted copper, as Tywin wanted to send a message to this so called dragon queen
Stakewalls had been built by the Greenfields, when the old lion warned them of the eminent attack.
"We are ready my lord Hand. Our scouts say the dornish forces come from the Griffin's Roost." Ser Preston Greenfield told the Lannister man, who was looking at the map.
"How many men?" The king's Hand asked.
The younger man looked scared at Tywin. "Five thousand sir."
The great lion of the Rock looked over the map. He had brought with him ten thousand men, and House Greenfield had six thousand strong men. The Dornish were great fighters after all the Targaryens had not been able to make them surrender and the dragon lords had dragons, but Tywin knew he could crush them with ten thousand men. The rest would stay and defend the castle.
"Very well. Ser Garth." Tywin called making the man answer. "Sir?"
"Prepare your battalions to defend Sotrm's End, i will take the Westerlands army and march to the Griffin's Roost." The Hand ordered, before preparing himself for battle.

"Do you think it's really Tyrion? It could be someone trying to lure you into a trap." The red-headed Stark asked her brothers. Her time in kingslanding taught her that nothing was ever what it seemed.
"Read the last bit." Jon told her.
""All dwarfs are bastards in their father's eyes." What does that mean?" She asked not understanding the meaning of the sentence.
"It's something he said to me the first night we met. You know him better than any of us. What do you think?" The former lord commander told the three people standing with him.
""Tyrion is not like the other Lannisters. He was always kind to me, but it's too great a risk. "The Seven Kingdoms will bleed as long as a Lannister sits on the Iron Throne. Join us. Together we can end this tyranny."" The Red wolf kept reading.
"Sounds like a charmer. Of course, the casual mention of a Dothraki horde, a legion of Unsullied and seven dragons, a bit less charming." Davos added.
Robb then interrupted them. "We are forgetting the most important part. It says Rickon is there with them, under the protection of the House of the Dragon."
"I don't think Tyrion would lie about it. If this is truly a leeter from him as Jon suggests then i believe there is a chance Rickom is on that island with them." Sansa reasoned. Tyrion had been a good man, and she wanted to believe her little brother was alive.
"Fire kills Whites, you told me. What breathes fire?" Davos said out of nowhere.
Upon hearing the words Sansa met the old man's eyes shocked. "You're not suggesting they go and meet with her?"
"No, too dangerous." The Onion knight calmed the lady Stark, before adding. "But if the Army of the Dead makes it passed the Wall, do we have enough men to fight them?"
Jon and Robb share a look and gaze back to the courtyard looking concerned.

When the Dornish scout came back informing that the enemy was nearing, the army prepared themselves for the battle to come.
