"Attack only the men with a lion and tower in flames sigil. Avoid the wagons. They are precious to us."
Highgarden was complete chaos. The battlefield was a show of death and tragedy, and it was clear that despite the upper number of men ,thanks to House Tarly, they were still losing. Olenna had been right Tyrells did not know how to fight very well.
Meanwhile Jaime and Bronn realized tha there was an approaching infantary. Jaime, Bronn and Leyton order the soldiers to form up, which they manage to do before the enemy crests over the horizon. a massive, 100,000 strong horde of Dothraki cavalry, brandishing arakhs and bellowing their ululating war cries.
Since Euron Greyjoy was busy besieging the Unsullied at Casterly Rock on the west coast of Westeros, Rhaenya was able to land the Dothraki on the east coast without interference. Bronn, seeing the massive horde urged Jaime to leave and ride ahead to King's Landing, but the Lannister man insists he will not abandon his men.
Bronn bluntly tells him the Dothraki and the remaining of the Tarly army will quickly overwhelm their forces and Jaime is too valuable as a commander to stay and fight, but Jaime insists that they have a chance if their shield-wall holds.
Suddenly dragons can be heard roaring in the distance. Rhaenya and Ancalagon come flying over the Dothraki and over the battlefield. The queen's three other dragons surrounded the battlefield but did not attack as Rhaenya only wanted the three other dragons to intimidate her enemies, but she knew if necessary they would attack Cersei's forces.
"Dracarys" the Dragonheart commanded her mount. Ancalagon breathes fire into the first line of Lannister soldiers causing the men to burst into flames and start screaming. Dickon and Randyl look on in shock and amazement. The older Tarly man was never more sure that he had made the right decision in staying loyal to Olenna Tyrell.
A flanking group of Dothraki Screamers rides over the flames through the hole created by Ancalagon and start cutting men down.
"Hold the line!" The Lannister commander attempts to order but his men as well as the Hightower ones are two scared and amazed by the meere preaence of four dragons.
The main force of Dothraki crashes into shielded pikemen. Men on both sides are being slaughtered. A second wave of Dothraki Screamers ride in. They switch from a seated position to standing atop their saddles shooting bow and arrow. The Lannister archers fire back and many men are killed. Rhaenya and Ancalagon circle around and billow flames across the battlefield. Meanwhile Aeson spews flames and destroys the people near the carriages along the road. Some carts are exploding into pieces, barrels are flying through the air. Making Jaime look at the carnage in astonishment. "Archers! Archers with me!"
A group of archers break from the main battle and follow the golden lion and Bronn. Jaime lines the men up to counter Rhaenya and Ancalagon.
"Knock!" Jaime orders.
"Knock! Draw." His men respond.
Ancalagon loops around and is making a pass on Jaime and the archers. Both rider and dragon are diving at the group of men.
