The Dragonheart queen sat on the dark throne. At her left, Daenerys sat on a dark chair, while Tyrion stood to her right. The Tyrells, Martells and Greyjoys along with the rest of the queen's court stood along the great throne room, while Olyos and some dothraki escorted both lord Monterys Velaryon and lord Duram Bar Emmon to stand in front pf the Targaryen monarch.
"You stand in the presence of Rhaenya Dragonheart of House Targaryen, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lady of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm protector of the people, mother of dragons. " Missandei stated before Rhaenya herself took over.
"It is a pleasure to meet the heads of two of the oldest Houses in the realm." The older targaryen woman greeted.
Lord Bar Emmon stood forward and spoke. "The pleasure is all mine your grace. All members of House Bar Emmon are glad that in a matter of time the rightful ruler will once again sit on the iron throne."
Trying not to stay behind, and considering himself more important, the head of House Valaryon also walked forth. "Lord Duram speaks the truth my queen, and princess of course. I am personally happy to see more descendants of Old Valyria, and hope that together we can once again fortify our ancient alliance and join our two Houses."
"The khaleesi and i thank you. And we assume you are here to pledge fealty to House Targaryen?" Rhaenya asked, both she and Daenerys sat with polite smiles on their faces.
"Indeed your grace. The realm has suffered too much in the hands of false kings. And it is only right that you seat on throne that Aegon had built." Monterys kept trying to flatter the two women.
"I am sorry to interrupt my lords but according to our sources both Driftmark and Sharp Point have been vacant for quite sometime, in a matter of speaks. Am i correct Lord Varys?" Tyrion questioned the lords, before turning to the Spider.
"Indeed my lord Hand. I believe the queen would like to know why the lords did not return to their Seats after Stannis Baratheon's ultimate demise." The Master of Whispers revealed, causing both queen and khaleesi to give the lords questioning looks.
"Stannis went mad your grace. He had shown signs of mental instability through the years but, before marching to take Winterfell from House Bolton, he and his Red Woman tried to sacrifice his daughter the princ....i mean the lady Shareen to his lord of light..." Duram explained but was cut short by Ser Arthur.
"He burned his daughter alive?" The queen's sworn sword had seen many barbaric things over the years, but he did not think Stannis, a man he had met on occasions before Robert's rebellion, would go to the point of killing his child in such way.
"He tried Ser. But Robb Stark shot an arrow at him before the girl could burn to death." Lord Bar Emmon tried to continue but was once again interrupted, this time by a boy, who could be no older that 9 and stood next to a great direwolf.
