Many great Houses of the seven kingdoms were about to receive a letter that would shift alliances.
--------------------------------------------------------------
After the audience with Euron Greyjoy, Tywin was quick to motion Tommen to follow him to the small council room.
Both were joined by Cersei and Jaime, who entered the room and closed the door.

"Would you like to explain to me what just happened in there?" The Lannister patriarch asked as he sat down. Sure Tommen was no crazy fool like Joffrey, but he was easily manipulated, that had been showed before with the whole sparrow ordeal and with the Tyrell girl, the latter's influence he only learned after his recover.

Tommen stood in front of his grandfather and explained his actions, that had shocked the older man. "I just think that after everything that has happened, i believe we should make sure that the Greyjoys are really our allies, and not just latching themselves to us until the time comes and they turn out to be turncloaks."

Tywin nodded. He had to admit, it was a clever idea, the krakens were known for their rebellions, but still it was clear that Tommen's words were not his, but that of his mother Cersei. The old lion worried for the influence that his daughter had over the boy, if Margaery only wanted to be known as queen and help her family's position, Cersei wanted to rule at all costs. Which made the mission of finding Tommen a bride even more urgent, specially now that Rhaenya Targaryen had arrived.

"Very well. It was a good thought. But next time you must inform me, your Hand, of what your actions will be, only that way can i help you maintain your throne." Tywin explained with a stern look.

Tommen, however did not understand. Sure they were not on the best terms with the Tyrells, but as far as he knew all else was alright.
Just as the young king was about to speak a knock on the door interrupted him.

A young man entered and gave the letter to Tommen."Pardon, your grace. But this has just arrived."

When Tommen took it from the guard he noticed that said letter was sealed with a well known wax three headed red dragon, the sigil of House Targaryen. He turned the letter to his grandfather who quickly stood from his seat and ordered that the small council members to gather at once.
--------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as the small council was gathered, the lord Hand made the contents of the letter sent by the dragon queen known.

"This is most disturbing. If the girl manages to gather Houses to support her claim the crown will not stand a chance. Specially against dragons." Kevan commented, before Tywin continued.

"She already has. As of right now the Tyrells and Martells support her. As well as some ironborns. We should have known that the Reach had second intentions when they asked for nothing in return of their golden rose. We must deal with her before she becomes powerful."

"I might have an idea as to how we might deal with the dragons, my lord Hand. During the First Dornish War, Rhaenys Targaryen and her dragon Meraxes, were killed when a very lucky shot from a scorpion bolt managed to pierce the dragon's eye and drive into her brain, killing Meraxes instantly in mid-flight and causing Rhaenys to fall to her death." The Master of Whispers informed before continuing.

"I could commission the construction of a very powerful custom scorpion to help us kill the dragons." He finished.

Tommen was curious about the dragons. He was still very green at rulling, and even more so at war. "Are the dragons that big of a threat?"

Tywin decided to respond and appease his grandson's worries. "The last known dragon's head was the size of apple, now acording to our master of whispers the Targaryen girl's are about the size of direwolves, if that. I can assure you they will not be the problem we will have to deal with."
