Daryl POV
"Move it now!" I move out of the way.
"Rosita here now partner me. You do the breathing I'll do the heart."
"What the hell! Why is this happening? Baby wake up!" I don't know what to do I'm holding my son as my wife is dying. I'm watching Rosita doing the breathing and Aaron do the heart thingy. Then what feels like forever.
"Oh god!" Erin was back she was coughing and spluttering.
"Hey momma bear welcome back to the land of the living."
"What happened?"
"You collapsed."
"No I didn't I was sleeping I only closed my eyes for a minute."
"Who's that?"
"That?" She's looking at me.
"Honey that's Daryl your husband."
"Eric I think I'd know if I married such a good looking man."
"Aaron, What's going on why doesn't she remember me?"
"Daryl you need to go out." I walk outside with my son.
Erin POV
"Eric what's happening?
"Sweetie you just had twins."
"I think I'd remember that."
"What do you remember?"
"Being on a run, he looks familiar he's in the group I found."
"Yeah you've been together since you two met."
"You wanna met your babies?"
"So I really had twins?"
"Yeah this cutie pie little girl and Daryl he's got your son you have one of each."
"Daryl I married a guy named Daryl. I can't get my head around it. Why can't I remember any of it?"
"You were unconscious for a few minutes, I've heard it happen that people sometimes lose memory. Usually not months. Sometimes a few hours."
"Will I get that time back. My breasts are leaking."
"Your babies need feeding. Here you go take the baby girl and I'll get your son."
Daryl POV
What the hell is happening she doesn't remember me? I look down at my son he looks like Erin her eyes, nose and hair. I wanted to cry.
"Hello Shelley I'm your dad. I've waited a long time for you."
"Daryl we need to talk."
"Yeah, what's happening in there? Why can't she remember me?"
"Her memory has been wiped. Think of it like a tape that's been erased."
"Will it come back?" I start crying I just got my wife now I've lost her but she's still here
"Maybe I don't know Daryl. I don't know what to tell you. Something might set her off and bring it back it might not I can't tell you. Or just rest, it could be the situation and this could be how her body reacts to giving birth reverts back in time I really don't know. But the good news is she doesn't appear to have any other problems she just can't remember you. Come here." He goes to hug me I pull away. "Don't be like that."
"I want her back. I want my wife back." Just then Shelley started crying.
"He's probably hungry you wanna take him in the more you are around her it might help and Eric and I will be here as well."
