Three years later....

Daryl POV

There's been an influx of babies joining the family Shelley and Jacob had their twin girls Sarah and Marie, Hunter and Catherine followed suit but with twin boys Eric and Riley, Merlynn and Travis had twin girls named Naomi and Cathy, Erica and Antonio have had twin baby boys named Marco and Jackson.

Beth well she went and married Tyson, Sasha's second oldest that is a funny pairing they used to fight like cats and dogs when they were younger then suddenly at Hunter's wedding they were all over each other and are now having their second baby a boy who will be joining their other son Tyreese, actually Hunter's wedding caused a lot of people to get together George and Abelinna met there and have recently married haven't started yet but they say it's fun to try.

My other kids Billy, Ignatius and Jennifer they are still not married, Billy says he has way too many wild oats to sow before he settles down and who would want to marry him he's on the road nine months out of the year he'd never see them so what's the point.

Ignatius has proven himself to be quite the event coordinator and changed occupations he now does functions for everyone from regular people, to the president and also for smaller functions like what we are having tonight.

Jennifer and Christina are still together, Jennifer is half way through her degree and has an internship with Washington district attorney's office, she's very excited.

On the sad front we have lost a lot of our people since Eric died it seems to be happening more and more frequently we've lost Abe and Rosita they died real close to one another Abe died and a week later Rosita I like to think she died of a broken heart we were at Abe and Rosita's when it happened we were celebrating the Erica and Antonio's twins first birthday, Abe was cooking a BBQ with Antonio when all of a sudden he fell down clutching his chest an ambulance was called but it was to no avail when it arrived he was dead even with Hunter trying to save him he was unable to.

I'm worried about Hunter this is the second time his lost someone important Abe was practically family he called him uncle Abe, I'm worried he's going to start taking it to heart and not want to help others when they need it.

Carol and Murphy died as they lived together they were minding their own business and suddenly a truck wiped their car off the road and it rolled down an embankment I feel so bad like I've lost my brother and my sister I loved Carol like a sister and she is my sister we've been with each other for forty years that's a lifetime.

Rick and Jessie both died peacefully in their sleep Conner woke up to find her cold I can only imagine what he is feeling I know if Erin dies before me I don't wanna live but I will just keep on surviving each and everyday. Michonne has retreated into herself she found Rick as well and has been in a nearly catatonic since it happened, Carl, Judith and Scott and their kids have been trying to help her cope but it's like she's lost the will to live.

But the hardest thing I think that we have suffered as a group was the loss of Maggie and Eugene we lost them while they were doing their jobs they were at school one day when a kid came in with a pair of Uzi's and grudge against everyone and started shooting the place up Eugene was one of the last to be shot he was trying to talk the kid out of hurting anymore people the kid shot Eugene and then himself, they found Maggie in a classroom she was covering two students with her body she saved them while sacrificing herself in the process it was a very Maggie thing to do. She always put ours needs above her own. As you can imagine Glenn is beside himself with grief since he had just convinced Maggie finally give up work and retire she was due to at the end of semester.
