I think I watched a few of the kids crying. I don't know what they were talking about but it's upset the girls mainly.

"Hey Shelley what's wrong babe?" I hug her.

"Do you think mom will be okay?"

"Yeah she'll be fine."

"Well mom doesn't think so dad. It's like she's saying her final goodbyes."

"Well you know your mom she's always a negative person."

"Oh and you are the persona of positive thinking dad. No I'm going with you and waiting in Monday while the operation is happening I'm not leaving till I know mum is okay."

"That would nice baby." We watch Billy walk out of the house he's been crying and goes up to Hunter. We can see him talking to him more like threatening him. I walk over there.

"Hey hey hey boys what's going on here?"

"I'm just warning Hunter that doctor of his better not fuck up otherwise I won't have a brother anymore cause you've been pressuring mom to have this operation. So if she dies it's on you mister. And I hope you are happy that you'll have killed our mother. Dad tell mom I see her on Monday. If I stay I might say something else and I don't wanna."

"Billy don't be like that. Mom's gonna be okay. She's just worried that she won't be."

"Maybe she has a reason to be? Does she know how dangerous this is Hunter or did you just fail to tell her so she'd do it. Did you know dad she has a twenty percent chance of dying?"

"Well Billy you know what that means our mom has an eighty percent chance of surviving, every day she doesn't have it she has more chance of have a full blown heart attack. Is that what you want? You know why don't you go back to what you know to do which is shaking your ass on stage."

"Yeah maybe I will when mom is better."

"You know you don't even care about her. You hardly see mom and dad."

"I'm here as much as I can be. I don't exactly have the most conventional job. At least I'm not pressuring their mom to have a dangerous operation."

"Boys boys. You are family we don't need to be fighting about this mom's scared as it is. Hunter she's terrified that's why she's done this so she can say goodbye to each of you encase she doesn't make it. I am scared too Hunter, I don't want to lose her neither choice is what we want the operation or not having it done. I just hope we've made the right choice."

"Dad she will be fine all this stress you and her are going through is not good for either of you."

"For her sake I hope so son. I'll be lost without her."

"Dad we will look after you. I know I made a promise to do it. You've always looked after us dad let us do it for you." Said Erica.

"I just want a guarantee that she will be fine but you can't." I know I'm always on the road but I still love mom and I'll miss her but I don't know if I can forgive you if she died Hunter I mean that. Can you say bye to mom and that I see her on Monday."

"Come here son. I'll walk you out of the house."

We walk to Billy's car.

"I mean it dad I have a bad feeling. Ever since mom said she was thinking of having it. And my bad feeling are always and I mean always spot on."

"She'll be okay."

"I really don't want her to have it. I'm going to miss her dad. If something happens to her."

"I know me too son. Now drive home safe and we see you on Monday."

"Okay dad."

Well that was a fun family party. Usually there's some excitement, I'm glad Erin didn't see that she would be having second thoughts and I need her to do this.

"Daryl may I talk to you?"

"Sure Christina."

"I'm sorry for the bad timing award seeming there Seems to be a bit of tension, but I can understand Erin is like a mom to me I've known you guys for eight years. I wanted to know if I could marry Jennifer we love each other and we don't wanna wait anymore. We were waiting till Jennifer was finished her degree and she has now we want to be a family. So I was wondering could I marry her?"

"Like you have to ask Jennifer loves you so much Christina and I know Erin just thinks you are wonderful."

"So go and ask her."

"I actually did the day she graduated. We were waiting till the time was right but the time isn't always right."

"Well I'm glad you did Jennifer is so happy with you."

"You know Daryl. You give southerners a bad name, you are way too nice."

"Well believe me forty years ago you would not say that I'm sure I'd have said something horrible about you being a rug munched or taco eater."

"Well I do love to do that."

"Good to know Jennifer is satisfied."

"She's damn near wearing me out. How the hell do you still do it and you are what ninety."

"I'm seventy eight thank you very fucking much Christina. I'm Daryl fucking Dixon that's how the hell I do it. Also learned what Erin loves and do that she's putty in your hands, I can imagine Jennifer is the same."

"I shouldn't talk about this."

"Dear we've heard you two at it while she's been here. Really I can only imagine what you are doing or maybe I shouldn't."

"Oh god I'm so embarrassed."

"Don't be. Be happy you give each other pleasure hell I can only imagine what you've heard us two do. Her mother is a talker."

"Yeah so is Jennifer when we are home alone."

"I want to you to look after my girl now okay. I know you will, you have since we met you."

"Oh yeah I remember when we met wasn't Erin giving you a BJ?"

"I think so. That's a long time ago. Can't remember every time we've been caught been too many times. Been caught by the kids, my workers and the cops."

"The cops?"

"Yeah we had a night picnic and you know how it is one thing leads to another and we were going at it in the park, at least the cop you know my friend Rick found us and not someone up else as they would've arrested us but he let us go, Erin was mortified. That's one thing Christina these kids they have tempers."

"Yeah noticed that but I love it, can usually lead to great sex."

"Very true. Christina you fit into this family like you were meant to be in it I'm glad she met you, you're her soul mate."

Eventually everyone left I'll deal with the mess later I wanna see how Erin is she hasn't left the bedroom all afternoon. I knock on the door and there's no answer and I see why she's asleep. I decide to lay down with her. She moves when I do.

"What you doing in here? Every one gone?"

"Yeah sweetheart they have. Did you know Jennifer is getting married?"

"Yeah she told me babe. We've done good haven't we? They are good kids."

"Yeah they are good adults. Yeah they fight but it's to be expected. There's nine different personalities there not all of them will go together. I think you should know Billy is like you but not connected to Iggy but in general you know."

"I thought so there were times when he'd answer questions I'd before I had a chance to ask them."

"Really I didn't know that."

"That's why he's such a good musician he goes with his guts if he gets a good feeling about something he goes with it."

"Babe you need to relax babe. I need you to relax. Stressing about the operation will make it worse okay."

"I promise babe I bet you can find a way to relax me."
