Three years later.... 

Daryl POV

I can't believe it's been three years since Erin's death I miss her everyday. There's not many of our original group left there's only Sasha, Judith, Carl, michonne, Conner, Spencer and Glenn and myself.

I'm very proud my youngest daughter, Jennifer has her first proper court case today and it's a big one, she decided when she found out about who her father was that she was going to not allow other men act like he did and get away with it, so she wanted to focus on rape cases as she has with this one she is on now the defendant is the son of a mob boss accused of raping several women, according to Jennifer his dad's men have been trying to get her to drop the charges and she's been standing her ground saying she won't do it, yeah she might be a product of a rape but she won't tolerate it. She says she owes it to women like her mom. Erin would be so proud of her and what she has become.

In fact all our kids are amazing. Hunter is one of the top cardiologists in the country definitely one of the youngest I feel like he still feels responsible for Erin's death I don't blame him it was her heart not him and she knew the dangers of what she was doing he needs to forgive himself.

Shelley now after a great career as a dancer she decided to have a family and now has three cute kids in fact her youngest looks like Erin, she's now an instructor with the dance troupe she was with.

Merlynn is happily married to Travis with two kids and the two of them are artists in their own right maybe not rich but they are happy I always make sure they are okay and not struggling I'm always buying their artwork gotta make sure the grandkids are okay.

George is doing so well in the shop he has a real mind for cars and fixing things with his hands, him and Abelinna have had two kids so far I don't think any of our kids we'll have near as many kids as us, nine was maybe a little overboard but they wanted more people I think Erin and I did good.

Beth is an award winning writer exotic romance writer I can't stand them but Erin loved reading them used to get her all hot and bothered, in fact Beth used us as a basis of one of her stories changed the names of course but we knew she was using us, it used to get Erin off to no end. God I miss her, I miss waking up to her in the mornings, I miss going to bed with her and just miss her being there and I miss her cooking I never really learnt to but the kids are good they take it in turns cooking up meals so I can just heat it up, they're worried their dad might starve if there wasn't anything to cook. I'd be happy if I was then I'd be with Erin.

Erica is a top chef in a very busy restaurant in Washington, she even cooks for the president and his staff.

Ignatius met and married the love of his life a great man named Greg and the two are really happy yeah I'm the proud dad to a great gay son actually I'm just proud of my son period regardless of who he likes to have sex with yeah I don't think I'm a racist sexist redneck anymore.

Billy is lead guitarist in one of the top rock bands he is also married, he married a very pretty model named Yvonne thou she doesn't compare to Erin, they married just after Erin died and they are now expecting their first babies yeah she's having twin girls Erin would be so happy.

Jennifer I couldn't be more prouder of her. She is still with Christina that's nearly ten years now. I'm just happy she is happy and has someone that loves her as much as Christina does. It makes an old man really happy to see their kids settled and enjoying the life you worked so hard in so they could.
