Daryl POV

Dammit come on Erin be okay. Don't die on me. I think I'm lucky I didn't get chased by the cops as I broke every speed limit I know she'll need me. Even if they aren't having that connection she will need me when she finds out. I hurriedly park the car and run into the house.

"Dad what are you doing here?" Asked Jennifer.

"Your your your mom. Sorry let me catch my breathe. Where is She?"

"Hospital she's catatonic according to Catherine. What happened dad? Mom was screaming about her chest."

"Eric had a heart attack your brother was trying to revive him when the helicopter arrived he went with them. I gotta go to your mom she needs me."

"Is he dead dad?"

"It didn't look good sweetheart. Wanna come?"

"Yeah."

"Well come on if you coming."

We run out of the house and race over to the hospital.

"Erin Dixon?"

"She's in the ward resting."

"Daddy!" It was Erica.

"You're here I'm glad. I don't know what happened dad one moment we are drinking having fun eating the next mommy is grabbing her chest and screaming about uncle Eric and her chest."

"Yeah he was having a heart attack, I don't know if he is okay they were still working on him when the helicopter arrived. Where's your mom?"

"This way dad." She helps me to a room in the hospital. I open the door and see Erin unconscious on the bed.

"Mr Dixon."

"Catherine you can call me Daryl."

"I'm working so I'm supposed to be proper."

"So what's happened to her?"

"Well in simple terms she's catatonic. Whatever has happened has pushed her over the edge."

"Her brother was dying he might have died I'm not sure I don't know they can feel each other so maybe he's dead."

"They feel each other?"

"Yeah when one is in pain or pleasure yeah. Long story. Would you be able to find out the location of Eric Fitzgibbon?"

"Yeah I can Daryl, bear with me. She maybe will be fine she may just need rest."

"Thanks. I'll be right here. I'm just going anywhere."

I watched Catherine leave the room. I sat down beside Erin and held her hand she looked like she was sleeping.

"Babe if you were tired from the sex all you had to do was say so. I'd have stopped this is a bit too far even for you. Come on baby open your eyes. Yes I know something really bad has happened but we need you, your family needs you. I need you." There was a knock on the door I look at the door.

"Mr Dix sorry Daryl. I found out some information. There was a man named Eric Fitzgibbon brought in by helicopter, he was having a massive heart attack the paramedics were trying to revive him when he arrived, the ER team tried as well unfortunately he was declared dead on arrival."

"Oh god. Erin's going to die when she hears that. How am I going to tell her that her brother has died?"

"I don't know Daryl. But I'm here, Hunter is here we will help you help Erin. I'm really sorry for her loss. I know how much Hunter loved Eric he was always talking about him. I've got to be with him. Will you be okay?"
