Five years later...

Erin POV

"I'm glad you've finally listened to me mom. We can have you in the operating theatre tomorrow if you want."

"No Hunter I want to say goodbye to everyone first what if something happens hon. I couldn't do it. Monday I can do it Daryl babe we will get the family together and I wanna see everyone just encase something happens."

"Okay no later then Monday promise mom."

"I promise I will have it."

"Good. The operation will be performed by dr Samson as I'm family so I can't do it but I will be his support."

"And this dr Samson he's a good doctor?" Daryl asked.

"Yeah he is mom he's as good as I am."

"Okay babe you think you are ready to do this now?"

"Yeah on Monday we will or I will."

"I'm very glad you are mom as I said it's getting worse how many times you been in hospital because of it? Ten?"

"Yes I know."

"But mom it will be better once it is fixed you won't know yourself."

"God I hope I'm making the right choice. I don't know son I honestly don't know my feelings are going into overdrive. Okay I'll do it. Hunter bring the family over on Saturday I'll call the rest of the family as well."

We got home without incident and started making calls everyone except Erica was able to come but she said she'd try really hard to. I told her it's important and for that reason she said she'd move heaven and earth to do so.

"So babe you okay? You look scared."

"I'm Terrified Daryl I'd rather face a walker horde with only a knife to defend myself with then be on that operating table I just don't know my chances they are in someone else's hands and I don't like it."

"Erin you will be fine. Hunter does this operation all the time once or twice a week. You will be fine and I'll be right there waiting for you babe when you come out."

"I know you will be. Just as I'll be waiting for you Daryl."

"Sunday I want it to be us, just us two. I'm going to make you feel more loved then you have ever felt before or since. Then once you are healed it's back to your usual programming."

"Babe we haven't had usual programming after the last time when I ended up in hospital for a day good work Mr I fucked my wife so hard she had a heart attack."

"Yeah I am that good."

"Bad you are, but if I do this we won't have to worry about it anymore."

The next day....

Everyone was turning up there's so many kids now I love it. I decided I wanted to talk to each kid and just tell them how proud I am of them. Encase the worse happens I want them to know that I love them.

I hear "Nanna!" Coming from all of my grandkids

"Look at all my babies. Yes nanny loves you all."

Daryl and I set the backyard up with blankets and we're going to have a picnic or multiple picnics seeming there's so many people here.

"You happy babe?" Daryl asks as he kisses my neck.

"Blissful babe. I have my family. Did you ever think we'd have so many kin? I didn't I mean I kind of did I was never going to stop sleeping with you babe. Hey if my heart hadn't been an issue how many would we have had?
