Later that year....

Daryl POV

Can't believe my eldest son is getting married. He met a nice doctor named Catherine while at a conference and fell in love with her he says it was love at first.

"Why are we going hunting? I've never hunted in all my years."

"Well bro we voted and you lost. Tough bro." George said.

I watch my boys help pack up the trucks we were actually going camping for the night with the men from the group Rick, Glenn, Abe, Aaron, Eric, Murphy, Conner, Carl, Eugene and all my boys and Jacob Shelley's boyfriend and a couple of Hunter's friends.

We decided that we'd go to a nearby state forest and go for a hike and maybe a hunt as I still have my crossbow thou it's so bloody heavy now man how I was able to lift this thing when I was younger I don't know I must have been built like a tank. George has his crossbow and I can see what I must of looked like when I was his age yeah I looked good, and Iggy he's a bowman like his mother was. Everyone but billy and hunter have weapons just in case even thou it's been thirty years since we got to Alexandria it can't hurt to be safe. We are sitting around the campfire while the younger ones are out hunting.

"Hey Daryl?"

"Yeah Rick?"

"Does this bring back memories of being out here. Man I think we were very lucky that day your woman found you know. I know you must thank your lucky stars she did find us."

"Every damn day Rick. I'm so glad she's in my life. She changed my life. I wouldn't be like this man you see before you, I'd be a feral creature."

"Yeah you actually have showers now, I always thought you were allergic to water Daryl seeming you bathed so infrequently."

"Hey it was a luxury."

"And our sense of smell wasn't. Dude you used to smell so bad. Erin mustn't have a sense of smell if she wanted you like you were."

"What do you mean used to? I can come home all sweaty from work and the next thing I know she's pushing me on the lounge and fucks the shit outta me."

"Always knew you two were dynamos have no idea what she sees in you thou."

"I know what you mean Rick. Why she would like a hunter over a brain I'll never understand."

"Man I always knew you had a thing for Erin, Eugene all you had to do was talk to her. I did and I'm very happy I did."

"Yeah I'm glad you did you two are suited together. She always looks so happy with you even now. I'm lucky if I make my wife half as happy."

"Well you know what you have to do don't you." I flick my tongue at him. "Do that and any woman is putty in your hands, can't say I don't love doing it and oh my god while we are in the area she sucks like a vacuum cleaner, I'm one very lucky guy."

"Daryl we really don't wanna hear that now do we?"

"You know I've never asked my kids what they do or don't do maybe I should?"

"So what about Iggy what's the story there?"

"Dude you really wanna know does Iggy like guys or girls? I can't tell you."

Your kidding he's a lady's man is he?"

"I'm pretty sure he loves the men seeming he's gay."

"Iggy's gay? No way he's so built. You know masculine."

"Yeah and your problem is Glenn?"

"Hey no problem Daryl. I think he's cool."

"Good cause I love my son. And keep it down they are coming back."
