Chapter 20 - Added a little more to the end of the Madara & Rin talk

Chapter 21 - A few changes throughout the chapter, touched up Rin and Kakashi's goodbye.

Chapter 22 - A little changes when Fugaku shows up, near the end of the chapter.

Chapter 23 - Rin VS Fugaku, what they talk about during the fight has changed up.

Chapter 25 - Minimal additions to Rin and Madara speaking in "purgatory"

Kakashi

He was supposed to be dead. I mourned him, I visited his grave daily. I shared my grief with someone I loved. I had begun to find peace in my past, and yet here he was. That peace so easily disrupted the moment I realized our mangekyo was connected. That we both could use the Kamui. It had helped fight him, and I recalled Rin's words: he isn't always there physically.

"R-Rin!" Naruto's voice grounded me through the rising panic in my chest. When I looked at him he was staring up at the statue, and then down at his hand.

"Is she okay?"

"I-I still can't sense her clearly, but I think I saw her," Naruto replied slowly. It had happened a few times when Naruto saw flickers of Rin. He said she was alive, but not well. That he couldn't connect to her as he used to, that something was off. I thought she would return as soon as she released the reanimation, but she hadn't and part of me was glad. At least I knew she was safe with Sasuke for the time being.

"If you can reach her or see her, tell her who he is" I replied, knowing one of her tasks was uncovering the truth about the fake Madara.

"You still haven't told me who he is" Naruto reminded. I still couldn't believe it, even as I stared at him. It was difficult. It had been years since his death, and yet all I could see were flashes of what happened. Flashes of the mission that we had lost him during.

"He was our former comrade, Obito" Gai replied on my behalf. He was just as stunned as I was.

"You can call me by that name if you want, but it means nothing to me" Obito replied.

"He was a former leaf shinobi and an Uchiha. We all thought he was killed in action during the last war." Gai explained. My heart was racing, anger mixing with disbelief and panic. I felt like I was going to be sick.

"But if you were alive, then why not come forward?" I demanded.

"Because it's irrelevant if I was alive or not." He dismissed.

"Although, I suppose if you want an answer the reason is that you let Rin die." I was unsure how to reply as Gai and Naruto's eyes fell on me.

"But Rin is alive, you saw-"

"Not the pathetic Princess" Obito snapped, interrupting Naruto.

"We had a teammate with the same name, she-she was my friend" I explained slowly.

"So, all this time you were the one tormenting her. You killed her family, you made her life hell, and you're not even the real Madara" Obito shrugged.
