Finally, after Naruto leaves to train with Killer B there's a few fillers in the Anime. So I will be doing one or two fillers before going on with the actual arc. This chapter does count as one of the possible two fillers!

Rin

Everyone was in preparation mode. Shikamaru had been put in charge of the front line. Sakura, Ino, and Jazmine had just come back from a mission for gathering medicinal herbs. Even the genin who wouldn't be participating were given work. Lord Hiashi was readying his clan. He was assigned to the rear guard, Lady Hinabi was deemed too young for combat and while I thought it would fall to Hinata he instead chose Neji to lead the Hyuga on the front lines. I, on the other hand, was restricted to training.

"I thought you liked training" The Jubi's voice startled me, and I had to release the jutsu before it erupted.

"You've been rather silent lately" I replied and he chuckled.

"I thought you were upset with me"

"I am, but I also need your cooperation"

"The war" He mused.

"Exactly, I need you to work with me and not against me" I replied and he laughed.

"Sweet innocent Princess, I want out and Madara is willing to give me what I want"

"Not as long as I'm alive," I said confidently.

"True" He mused.

"But I can give you want in. In exchange for your cooperation in my freedom," He tempted but I scoffed.

"Like you have anything I want that badly" I shot back and he chuckled again.

"What about Itachi?" I was going to ask what or even laugh at him but I felt someone shake my shoulder. I opened my eyes, the sun a little blinding as I stared up at a concerned Kakashi.

"Kakashi?" I questioned and he breathed a sigh of relief.

"I came back and you were on the ground" He explained and I realized he was right. He took my hands helping me sit up.

"Are you alright?" He questioned.

"Yeah, I-I didn't even realize I fell. I guess the Jubi just startled me"

"The Jubi? Did he take control?" He asked quickly and I shook my head.

"No, no he's just been pretty quiet since the whole Danzo incident" I assured him.

"Maybe we should take a break"

"But we're finally making progress" I objected and he sighed.

"I know, and..."

"Rin!" I glanced up, a little confused to see Tenten and Sakura running towards me

"Does Lady Tsunade need me? Or us?" I questioned.
