Chapter 7: Rin Uchiha [Shippuden]

**Authors Note: 

Okay! So I am driving back to where I live for most of the day tomorrow (Dec. 25) so my writing time is very limited. :(

Also I'm not quite sure if it'll be the next chapter or the following chapter where I'll be revealing the winner of the Poll. So here is my proposition! 

I did write a little RinXWinner christmas special that I wanted  to launch in my sneak peeks & bonuses at the same time I announced it in this book BUT since that might be a little delayed I am willing to post it later today (Dec. 25) if you guys want it :)

So please let me know ASAP :D

Kakashi

Rin's clone sliced through Sasuke but his body vanished with a puff of smoke. Rin cursed as she started a second set of hand signs. Sasuke re-appeared behind the clone using a kunai to destroy it before running towards us.

"Stay behind me!" She warned and lightning sparked off her blade. She dipped it into the water and it shot forward. Sasuke quickly changed directions jumping back as Rin pressed on, the lightning ripping through the water. I noticed her flinch and she grabbed her head as the jutsu was cut off.

"Rin..."

"I'm fine!" She replied shortly.

"Your chakra is getting low, you said so yourself Rin you can't pull anymore powerful jutsu" I argued.

"I can still use taijutsu" I wanted to object but she had already ran forward. She pulled her katana across her body, and Sasuke bent backwards barely avoiding it as it cut a few strands of his hair. He sprung backwards to his hands and followed through with his legs landing a kick against her chin which made her stumble. She caught his fist with her free hand and went for a strike with her katana, the blade briefly pierced into Sasuke's torso before he jumped back sliding across the water. He touched the cut and stared at the blood on his fingers, his anger growing.

"Eat this!" Rin had used the side of the cliff to gain leverage. Lighting once again sparked off her blade as she jumped above Sasuke, her katana raised high. Sasuke's eyes widened as she brought down her blade. He rolled to the side avoiding the initial blow but when her blade hit the water the lightning slammed into him, sending him flying. Rin was breathing hard as she let it die down. She remained in a crouched position as she looked over to Sasuke who was trembling as he tried to get up. The current still running through him.

"H-Had enough yet?" Rin asked and Sasuke glanced up at her, his teeth clenched, unable to respond. Rin slid her katana back into her belt before pushing herself to her feet. She stumbled and used the cliff wall to balance herself.

"We don't need to fight like this, just talk to me Sasuke" She tried to bargain.

"I'm sick of hearing you speak" He managed. I was surprised when he stood, a chidori in his hand as he faced Rin. Rin put her hands together but hesitated. She couldn't use chakra, not after all that. Right now her choices were another jutsu or keep her sharingan activated and, knowing her she'd chose the sharingan. Rin moved into a defensive position, her eyes watching him as he darted forward. She moved to the side and caught his wrist. She turned using his momentum to pull him forward and twisted his arm before slamming her elbow down on his. The snap of his arm echoed as the chidori faded, Sasuke fell forward and Rin finally released her sharingan.

"I-I'm sorry" She apologized and went to reach for him, but the body vanished once again.

"What the..."
