Chapter 17: Rin Uchiha [Shippuden]

Just a heads up as I've been re-watching the war. A lot of it will be more my creative abilities while still following the build-up. So, if it seems like we skipped something, we most likely didn't it's just happening elsewhere from Rin :)

**Vision world**

"Itachi!" I shouted. He wasn't here and the fact that he wasn't here made me anxious.

"Itachi!" I shouted again. 

"He's not here my dear" I froze at the sound of a female voice.

"Y-You're not the jubi" I stammered, and she laughed. I watched as she stepped out of the shadows and recognized her pale skin and lilac eyes. I quickly turned my back to her and could hear the amusement in her voice.

"I thought you wanted to talk?" She mused.

"Itachi was keeping me from you for a reason" I replied. I closed my eyes when I felt her touch my cheek.

"So quick to follow big brother's orders, it's like you haven't changed at all"

"You don't know me" I replied.

"My dear, I was once you" She replied.

"Powerful, beautiful, and a host of all this power" I felt her touch my chest and it was like the Jubi slammed against her hand. The jolt made me jump back but my eyes remained closed.

"And when the time comes I will need you and the part of me that you hold" She went on. 

"But in return, I will give you something of equal value" I felt her fingers touch my temples and we were still for a moment. I almost screamed when a searing pain went through my head, a series of hand signs burned into my mind. I shoved her, but the motion merely pushed me back a few steps.

"Wh-What the hell was that!?" I demanded.

"The jutsu that will bring back your brother" I almost opened my eyes but resisted.

"Itachi doesn't want to be brought back, your gift is useless" I replied, and she laughed again. I felt a chill down my spine as she put her hands on my shoulders. I felt her breath on my ear.

"My dear, isn't it time you followed your own desires?" I said nothing in response and felt her stand straight.

"Use it or not, the choice will be yours. Regardless of your choice the part of me that you hold will be returned. So, you might as well have some fun while you're still alive" She advised.

"You will never have the jubi" I said firmly, and she laughed again. I shivered when her fingers stroked the side of my face.

"My dear, you've all but sealed your fate." Her words my stomach uneasy.

"Hey! Hey, get away from her!" I recognized the voice and the presence of the woman vanished.

"N-Naruto" I stammered as I looked up at him. He grinned a wide grin, but I was more distracted by the golden light that radiated from his entire body.

"You look, different..?" 

"It's the nine-tails," He said eagerly.

"H-How are you here? Why are you here?" I questioned, and he seemed quiet for a moment.
