So this is an extra long chapter since as I promised within 10 chapters I would reveal the poll winner! Normally the chapters are a max of 5-6 pages on Microsoft Word and this one clocked in at 10. So I hope you guys are happy about that :)

Now then for those of you that didn't read the Christmas Special or wanted to wait here it is!

Kakashi Hatake is our winner!!! You all voted and in the end, it became a battle between Shikamaru and Kakashi. I think what really pushed Kakashi ahead was that many of my readers prefer ShikaTema. Which is understandable since it's canon haha.

But still, for those of you that didn't vote for Kakashi, I'm sorry your fave didn't win but I really hope you'll keep reading!

Shikamaru

"If you can keep your cool, sit back, and listen then you can come into the meeting," My father said firmly as we walked towards the compound.

"Rin's the one that starts it" I argued and my father chuckled.

"You're sounding like a child Shikamaru" He replied.

"She's been nothing but infuriating lately, how does she expect us to just listen to her when she has put her family before us in the past" I argued and he sighed.

"Shikamaru, are you sure this sudden attitude doesn't have to do with your break up?" He questioned and I scoffed.

"No"

"Shikamaru" He questioned a little more sternly and I sighed.

"I didn't think it would be this hard" I admitted.

"I want to help her and she doesn't want help, I ask her questions and she doesn't answer me anymore"

"Has Rin ever been the kind of girl to ask for help or talk about her problems?" He questioned and I sighed again.

"She used to, before..." I paused and he put his hand on my shoulder.

"I know you waited for this Shikamaru but some people need each other as friends more than they need each other in a relationship. Maybe all this tension between you two is telling you to work on your friendship" He advised and I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Maybe" I agreed bitterly.

"So, do you think you can keep your cool for the meeting?" He asked and I nodded.

"Good, cause we're running late" I followed him as he picked his pace. He nodded at the Hyuga guards as we passed the gates. They were slowly beginning to move back to their Estate, the main house had been rebuilt so it was only a matter of time before the rest was finished.

"Lord Shikaku, the others have already arrived." A guard greeted, sliding open the door to the meeting area.

"I apologize for my tardiness," My father said as he walked into the room.

"It's not a problem Lord Shikaku" I heard Rin before I saw her. I felt my stomach sink as I walked inside after my father. Rin sat in front of Choza, Inochi, Hiashi, and I was surprised to see Neji had also decided to attend. I bowed towards Rin when her dark eyes landed on me.

"Lady Rin" I greeted.

"Lord Shikaku I understand the importance of teaching your heir meeting proceedings but lately..."
