Chapter 20: Car Rides Home

*Kayla's POV*

We got up and brought our bags to the hallway then got ready. I wore a volleyball tee shirt and a hoodie and I wore Jean shorts. I walked out and Daniel walked in bumping into me. I grabbed my mint green backpack and put my stuff in it and went outside. I brought my stuff out and helped pack the car.

I brought everyone's things out and then sat on the bed. Daniel came out and ignored me. "Daniel are you going in my car or not?" I asked getting up grabbing my backpack. "Yea." he said grabbing his bag. "Daniel come here." I said grabbing him. "Why are you mad?" I asked hugging him. "Im not I'm tired." He said yawning. "Its okay." I patted his back.

We left the room and went to the car. We got in and then we left the house. I got comfortable and just looked out the window. I felt someone put their hand on my thigh and I gasp and then laughed. "Danielllllll." I whined. "What?" He laughed. I glared at him then took out my laptop. I also went on my phone and saw I had messages from Jodie, Ali, Nick, Chandler and my friend from second grade Hannah.

I texted Nick first.

Nick😌🙈🚀: KAYLA WHEN ARE YOU COMIN HOME I MISS YOU😭
Me: IM LEAVING NOW CALM YOUR TITS😂
Nick: Okay see Ya soon honey boo boo chillllllld✌️😂

Then I texted Jodie.

Jodie☺️💭: Girl I miss you and Hayes is acting weird pleaseeeee help me.
Me: how is he acting?
Jodie: He keeps on ignoring me and I don't know what I should do.
Me: I'll talk to him
Jodie: thank you

Then Ali.

Alison💁💯: Kayla Chandler asked to tell you to text him.
Me: Got it
Alison: okay he's bugging me
Me: 😂

Then Chandler.

Chandler: Do you have any food?
Me: yeaaaa

Then Hannah.

Hannah🌻☀️: Kayla I haven't seen you in forever!!!!!
Me: I know
Hannah: We should hang out sometime
Me: Yea

After that I saw my Dad pull into an aquarium so we got out and went inside. I grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket and jumped on Daniels back. "Hey Babe." he said looking at me. "To the turtles." I said pointing to no where. "Calm down honey." my mom said laughing. Of course we went to the turtles first and I took a picture of the turtle and we moved on.

After walking around my feet got tired so we continued on with the road. I went on Webkinz because we all have those throwback days. Then I went on Netflix and watched some movies. "Whatcha watchin." Daniel whispered which made me jump. He laughed and I told him I was watching Step Brothers.

(My science teacher has a turtle in her room and I get to feed it😂 I named it Carloso❤️)

He watched it with me and I leaned my head on his shoulder. "I love you." He said kissing my forehead. "Aww I love you too." I said kissing him. "AYE BIG BROTHER RIGHT BEHIND YOU AND WE HAVE A YOUNG ONE." Matt said covering Burnie's eyes. "Sorry Matty poo." I said sticking my tongue out.

We've been driving for hours so I fell asleep on Daniel and he kissed my nose and wrapped his arm around my tiny waist.
