Chapter 40: Leaving

*Daniel's POV*

I just landed in L.A. and called Kayla but she didn't pick up. "Ugh!" I groaned. I saw Aton and went over to him. "I hate this!" I said to him. "Why?" He asked as we got on the tour bus. "She's not talking to me now!" I said threw my teeth. "Who?" He asked. "KAYLA MY GIRLFRIEND!" I yelled and everyone looked at me. "Hey guys!" I said waving. "Hey." Hayes said. "So why isn't Kayla talking to you?" Aaron asked. "Because Aton wanted me on this tour and I haven't been home for a month with her and now she's upset like I just want to stay with her." I said.

"Hey it's okay!" They said and hugged me. I put my stuff on my bed and sat with them. I called her again and she picked up.

Shorty💙😍: Hey Daniel
Me: Oh my god you actually picked up
Shorty: I know I was with Jodie before we were skateboarding I couldn't answer you Im sorry
Me: Hey it's okay your with a friend i get it
Shorty: so um my friend got tickets to the show in NYC and she asked me to go with her but I'm not so you will see Hannah there.
Me: what? Why can't you go?
Shorty: I can't im sorry
Me: it's fine I'm just happy you picked up
Shorty: awww babe I love you
Me: I love you too shorty
Shorty: Uh excuse me I'm not short
Me: uh yea you are your 5'2
Shorty: yea
Me: I gotta go babe love you
Shorty: love you too tall
Me: bye shorty love you

I hung up and they started laughing. "What?" I asked. "WITTLE DANIEL HAS A GIRLFWEND!" They teased pinching my cheeks. "So!" I laughed. "ITS S'CUTE!" They yelled and we got off the bus. We went to the meet and greet part and of course people were talking about Kayla in a bad way. "Dude you gonna do something about that?" Hayes asked. "Oh yea." I said clenching my jaw. "Wow what a good boyfriend!" He said and I laughed. "I know!" I flipped my hair and finished the meet and greet. "GUYS DANIEL HAS SOMETHING TO SAY!" Hayes yelled.

"Alright so during the meet and greet and all over social media I am seeing so much hate on my girlfriend. Why would you say those things? She didn't do anything to you guys and she is so sweet and funny and doesn't deserve this. So if she doesn't have fans then why do I? If you guys are actually my fans you guys wouldn't care if I have a girlfriend it's life. I fell in love with her and I asked her out I don't need your opinion. Stop judging her. I met this really nice fan who didn't hate on her and she made me feel happy. Kayla doesn't like when fans invade her space because you guys always have something to say to her. Why can't you guys except the face that I have a girlfriend?! She make me happy, she makes me smile, she is my world and if you guys were my fans you guys would stop the hate and appreciate her. SHE DOESNT DESERVE THIS!" I said and walked away.

"Damn Daniel that was wow!" Hayes said coming up to me. "Hey I gotta stand up for my girl." I said. I heard my phone buzz so I looked at it.

Shorty: DYLAN FREAKEN O'BRIEN FOLLOWED ME😭
Me: ARE YOU FOR REAL😳
Shorty: IM CRYING😭
Me: CONGRATS BABE🎉

I laughed and did our show. We did our thing then went back on the bus. We filmed 'Maybe' and I was texting Kayla during it and they were reading my messages. I laughed and went on Twitter. After that I laid in my bed and talked to Kayla about nothing.
