Chapter 24: Babysitting

*Kayla's POV*

I woke up ate breakfast then went in the shower then got out of the shower, brushed my teeth. I put on my white tank top and a grey hoodie with high waisted black shorts and a black beanie with white converse. I brushed my hair and heard Matt leave with my mom and dad.

I went downstairs and the doorbell rang. "KAYLAAAAAAAAA!" Lilly yelled running into my legs. "Hello cutie." I said picking her up. "Thank you so much Kayla." my aunt said. "Your welcome anytime." we said bye and then Daniel and Rebecca popped up. "Hey babe how's it going." he said kissing my cheek. "And hello cutie." he said poking her cheek. She giggled and I let them inside.

"Okay what first." I said thinking. "DANCE PARTAY!" Lilly screamed which made me laugh. "Okay princess Lilly." I plugged in my phone and we started to dance. Daniel sat on the couch on his phone so I took his phone and saw he was texting Madison. I gave him his phone back and unplugged my phone. "Who's hungry because I haven't eaten lunch"

Lilly was shocked and I laughed at her reaction. They sat on the stools and I stood behind the counter. "Okay now what do you guys want to eat?" Daniel came in and sat in between the girls, I rolled my eyes. "Can we have Mac and Cheese pwease?" Lilly and Becca asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Sure." I said getting a pot but it was too high for me to reach. I felt Daniel reach up and grab it but I hit his hand. "I GOT IT!" I yelled getting on the counter. "Alright jeez calm down." I glared at him and he just sat down. "Kayla are you and Daniel okay?" Lilly asked. "And why would you say that missy?" I asked pouring the cheese in.

"You yelled at him and he's sad now." She hugged him. "My brother doesn't get sad." Rebecca hugged him too. "Yea we are fine I just don't like who he's texting." I said hugging him. He hugged me and kissed me. "Alright lunch is served." I put the Mac and Cheese in the bowls and handed it to the girls and then asked Daniel what he wants.

"I got it." he said getting up. I made pasta because all you do is heat it up if it's leftover. He did the same and I sat next to Lilly and started eating. "Kayla can me and Becca play in the basement?" She asked with Becca. "Go ahead cuties." I said putting our plates in the sink.

Me and Daniel sat on the couch and just cuddled and watched TV. "A HAUNTING." I yelled and he whined. "My house my shows." I said kissing him. I was ready to let go but he kept kissing me. I put the blanket in front of his face and he stopped. "Daniel what has gotten into you?" Before he said anything I got a call.

Jodie: HAYES IS CHEATING ON ME!
Me: Shh calm down its okay who's he with?
Jodie: SOME GIRL NAMED AMY
Me: It's okay it's okay don't worry about it it's fine he's a bad person anyway
Jodie: I know I just want him back.
Me: Talk to him about it
Jodie: Okay thank you
Me: Anytime

"Who was that?" He asked eating a cookie. "Answer my question first." I said seriously. "I don't know Kayla, Madison is telling me one thing and I know it's not true but she's telling me things that I don't even know and I've been hanging out with John lately and his friends." He said looking down.

"Wait John as in the one who got driven to the hospital for being accused of doing drugs?!" I said raising my voice. "Kayla baby calm down he's changed he just wants a normal friend and not the drug dealer friends so I've been helping him out." He said. "Alright alright but I have to see for myself." I said calming down. "And that was Jodie Hayes is cheating on her with a girl named Amy." I said hugging him.

"Wait I think it's my cousin." he said upset. "it's okay she won't hate you I know Jodie she's a huge fan of yours." i said as the little ones came upstairs. "Guys guys guys guess what?" They screamed. "Omg what!" Daniel copied them. "We beat your high score on Just Dance." they said together.

Daniel looked at me and I laughed. "Me and Matt." I said and he laughed. He put his arm around me kissed my head. "You guys are cute." Becca said hugging Daniel. Lilly hugged me and I picked her up. I heard the doorbell ring so I answered it.

"Hello Uncle Howie I'll get Lilly's stuff." I said and Daniel just stood there awkwardly. "Well say hi." I said to him. They talked and I helped Lilly with her shoes. "Are you and Daniel going to get married?" She asked. "I hope so." I said and looked at him. "Me too I like him." she said hugging me and then hugging Rebecca.

They left and then Daniel brought Becca home. "Wait babe John wants to hang out tomorrow and I want you to tag a long." he said looking at me. "Yea sure." he kissed me then left. I shut the door and sat on the couch and the doorbell rang again.

"UGH." I yelled and opened the door. Matt and Nash and Cameron were there with a twister box and paint. "Outside not inside." I said pointing outside. I watched Teen Wolf until 9 and then I watched American Horror story until 12 then I fell asleep.
