Chapter 25: John and yogurt

*Kayla's POV*

I was riding my blue penny board to the park and I'm wearing a stay weird shirt with short jean shorts with a purple flannel around my waist. I made it to the park and saw Daniel with John and the bad crew. "Daniel?" I asked looking at him. "Hey Kayla." he said not looking at me. I didn't want to deal with them so I just rode away.

I heard someone behind me so I stopped. "Hey Kayla I'm John." he said holding out his hands. He was wearing basketball shorts and a red shirt that matches. "Kayla." I said hugging him. He was shocked but hugged me back. "So is it true you changed or no." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Yes and no." he said looking down. "What?" I asked and he dragged me to a dugout. "Okay so I am a totally different person. I'm a nicer guy. I still hang out with all the bad people and now I'm leaving them. But Daniel is sticking with them." he said looking at me.

"So Wanna hang out with me and not with them?" I asked standing up. "Yea sure." he said hugging me. "Thank you for listening to me." he said letting go. "Anytime." I took his phone and put my number in and set the contact as: Kaylaaa🐥☺️☀️

I put his number in and set it as: Johnnn🙈☺️🌚

I gave him his phone back and we rode around the park laughing. "HEY JOHN WHAT YA DOIN MAN?!" Vinny yelled stopping us. "Uhhh leaving your drug group and hanging with my new bestie." He said putting his arm around my neck. "Oh." he said walking away. I saw Daniel coming over and I just rolled my eyes.

"Hey can I hang with you guys?" He asked nicely. "What about your friends?" I asked. "Eh I don't need them. So can I?" He asked with pleading eyes. "Actually I wanna just hang with John for now and why don't you hang with Hayes." I said kissing him. "Sure." he said going over to Hayes. The power of my kiss always works on him.

"Okay so Dunkin or Yogurt?" He asked. "Yagurt." I said and we skated down to the yogurt shop. We walked in and I saw Matt and some girl here so why not embarrass him. "Hey Mattypoo." I said messing up his hair. "Kayla." he said sternly. "What did I do?" I asked laughing. "This is Crystal my girlfriend." he said with his arms around her waist.

I smiled and Matt looked behind me. "This is John." I said and Matt wiggled his eyebrows. "No stop he's my bestieeeee." I said walking away. "So what do you want?" He asked getting me a cup. "Chocolate and strawberry." I said filling my cup. I moved on to the toppings and then I put my yogurt on the thing to get weighed and then I held out a five. But John said no and paid.

We sat down and ate. I took a selfie with him and then we just talked. "So what was it like hanging with Vinny and Joe." I said sitting criss cross applesauce looking at him. "I hated it all they talked about was baseball or if I'm going to the park or girls." he said looking at his food.

"Oh so I have to pee so I'll be right back." I said. I went to bathroom did my business then walked out. I saw John finishing eating then throwing out his cup I threw mine away. "Where to next?" He asked. "Do you wanna go back to the park?" I asked leaving.

"Dunkin?" He asked and I nodded. We rode to Dunkin and he pushed me then I pushed him. I got an ice tea that's sweetened the. We sat down. "Are you two dating?" This girl asked twirling her hair and chewing her gum like a cow. "No." John said annoyed. "What do you want Alana!" He asked annoyed. "My boyfriend back." she said sitting next to him.

I got up and left them because I don't want to intrude that so I just rode to the school. "Hey Jonathan what's up!" I said taking his basketball. "I bet 10 bucks you can't make it from there." He said and I looked at the hoop. "Try me." I said turning around and the wound the ball and making it in. "And where's my ten bucks Jonathan." he had his mouth opened and gave me two fives.

"KAYLA." John screamed bumping into me. "I gotta go." I said seeing Bryan behind him. "No." He said grabbing my arm. "Hey Kayla." Bryan said and I just yanked out of Johns grip and rode away. "KAYLA." He said riding next to me. "You left this in Dunkin." He said handing me my ice tea. "Thanks." I said.

We hung out some more then I went home. Once I walked in someone grabbed my arm and yanked me to the kitchen. "What." I said looking at Matt. "Crystal and me are going on a date tomorrow I need a fashion help." I laughed at his grammar. "Alright go with a nice buttoned down shirt and shorts." I said going upstairs after I ate.

I stayed up watching The Walking Dead and Finding Carter then John texted me.

Johnnn🙈☺️🌚: Hi
Me: Hi
John: Hi

And it kept going like that until Daniel texted me.

Daniel😌❤️🎶: Date tomorrow?
Me: Sure
Daniel: Great dress fancy
Me: What why?
Daniel: Surprise😱
Me: Babeeeeee😭
Daniel: Dress fancy👗🎀
Me: Okay fine💙

I fell asleep after that text.
