Chapter 46: one year

*Kayla's POV*

I woke up with an outfit at the foot of my bed. I got up brought the clothes in the shower with Dynamite behind me. "Sit." I said and he sat down. "Good boy." I said. I got in the shower washed my hair and my body then rinsed off and got out. I dried my hair and put on the outfit which was a black skater skirt with a mint poka dot crop top with white converse. I looked at a note on the comb and I read it.

Shorty,
Hey babe good morning! Happy One Year! Ok so meet Matt outside he's your driver today so meet him out there when your done!

I finished up everything that had to be done and and went outside. "Hey Matt!" I waved. "Hey sis." He said and I sat in the car. We drove to the hair salon and got out. "Hello sir how can I help you?" The last asked. "Uh Kayla Espinosa." Matt said. "Ah follow me." She said and I followed her. She had dye and started dying my hair. When she was done I looked at my hair. "Wow!" I said looking at the purple, dark blue and mint green hair. "Thank you!" I said. "Aw your welcome." She said. I walked over to Matt and we left since Daniel already paid? We got in the car and we drove to A.C. Moore.

We walked in and walked to a cashier. "Hello how may I help you?" She asked. "Uh Kayla Espinosa." I said. "Okay here you go." She said handing me a backpack. "Uh thanks." I said and we left. "Matt how much more?" I whined. "Calm down three more." He said and got in the car. "Oh Daniel said NOT to open the bag till you see him." Matt said. "Alright." I said. We stopped in front of a flower store and walked in. "Kayla Espinosa?" She asked. "That's me!" I said. "Thank god I've been asking every customer so far." She laughed. I laughed and she handed me a thing of different colored roses. "Oh and the boy said don't read the notes till you see him." She smiled. "Okay thank you." I said and walked out.

"So Daniel paid for everything?" I asked. "Yea." Matt said. "Cool." I said and pit the flowers in the bag without looking in it... Maybe a little. "Next stop the pet store." "Oh no no more pets for me." I said. "Awh but I liked this one." "Matt we have two dogs and a rabbit that's it." "But you will like this one." "It's not an animal is it?" I asked. "No it's not you got me." He frowned. We got there and just got a ton of dog and rabbit food since I told Daniel I was running low one day. "Alright this is your last stop." Matt said blind folding me. "Do I get to keep this bandana?" I asked. "Ask taylor." He said. "Alright I will." I said grabbing my phone. I took it off a little bit so I could see and hit his message thing.

I put the blindfold back on and Matt stopped the car. "We are here!" He said and helped me out then put the backpack on my shoulders. "Thank you." I said holding his hand. "Let's go." He said. We stopped and he took off my blindfold. "Hey Taylor said I could keep that one!" I said grabbing it. "Alright turn around." Matt said and I turned around and my jaw dropped. "Oh my god!" I said smiling. "You like it babe?" Daniel asked coming out from behind the tree. "No." He frowned. "I love it." I said and he ran up to me and hugged me.

"alright well let's eat!" He said grabbing my hand. "You are literally the cutest." I said. "Since I didn't feel like making sandwiches i bou- made pizza!" He said. "Oh so made Domino's Pizza?" I asked and he frowned. "Hey it's fine it's cute." I said. "Happy one year babe." He said handing me a box. "Daniel Skye I already have to open this thing!" I said. "Open this one last." He said. "Wait happy one year Daniel!" I said giving him a big box. "Okay open it." I said. He opened it and he had the biggest smile on his face. "HOW DID YOU GET THIS CAMERA?!" He yelled. "I saved a my work money to get it." I said picking the grass. "Babe I love it!" He said grabbing my cheeks and kissed me.

"Now your turn Shorty." He said. I opened the bag and couldn't speak. "Kayla." Daniel said. "Kayla say something." He pleaded. I attacked him and laughed. "Thank you!" I said and kissed all over his face. So in the bag was all of the things I texted him I wanted last night. So basically I texted him:

"Daniellll your so adorable!" I said. "Well read the note on the flowers." He said. I opened the note and it was a color code.

Red is for how much I love you
White is for forever
Blue is for sadness
Yellow is for Happiness
Green is for sickness
Purple is for reminders
Black is for Dynamite
My favorite one of all the blue stripped one is for us!

"Daniel..." I said with teary eyes. "Babe what's wrong?" He asked hugging me. "That's so sweet." I said. "Well open the little box." He said holding me. I opened it and started crying. It was a Tiffany crown necklace. "Babe." He said. "Babe don't cry." He said hugging me. "Daniel how did you pay for this?" I asked. "Don't worry about money." He said. "It will look magnificent on you!" He said and put it around my neck. I hugged him and didn't let go. "Happy One year babe." He said. "Happy one year babe." I said. We got up and got our stuff and walked home from the park. We got home and Daniel went to his house and I went to mine.

I went in the shower than changed into my pajamas and laid in bed with Dynamite. I went on Instagram and saw Daniel posted a picture.
