Chapter 37: Party

*Kayla's POV*

So our neighbor is getting married and they want us to be there and they want me and Daniel to serve the food and Matt and Robert to serve the drinks while JJ and Jojo and Becca set up. Like bruh! I threw on my white crop top and my blue skater skirt with my blue converse and my blue backpack. We aren't going to the ceremony just the place. I saw Matt and he had a blue buttoned down shirt, hair quiffed, blue backpack, and black shorts with blue vans.

"Looking good Matt." I said. I brushed my teeth and curled my hair and put mascara on them went downstairs. "I love your hair Kayla." Esther said. "Thank you." I said. We went outside and saw the kids taking a picture. "Woah!" Daniel said when he saw me. "Hi." I said. "You- I- wow!" He said and I laughed. "Let's go!" I said. We got in the car and me and Becca took selfies. "I lie your hair!" She said. "Thank you." I smiled. Daniel kept looking at me and I smiled. We got there and got out of the car.

"Why does everyone have a bag?" My mom asked. "We have the supplies." I said. "Me and Daniel have the kitchen stuff, Matt and Robert have the drink stuff, JJ and Jojo and Becca have the decorations." I said. "Okay well set up we have a ton of stuff in short amount of time." Esther said. "Let's go." I said. We walked to the kitchen and dropped out bags. "Woah." we said. "Hey I brought the plates, forks, knives and spoons and my charger, phone, candy and my glasses." I said.

"I have the food, my charger, candy and my phone." He said. "Let's set up!" I said. "Yep." He said. We put the food on the table and the plates and forks next to it. We got the board and chalk and wrote the menu down. Then we sat on the floor talking. "Dad can you take a picture of me and Kayla outside?" Daniel asked. "Sure." he said. We walked outside in front of a pretty bush and took a nice simple picture. "thank you!" We said walking back inside. I saw Daniel post it.

We waited in the kitchen until everyone came. We were waiting by the window and people came up to us. "Chicken and corn!" This lady said. I put it on the plate and gave it to Daniel. And the same order every time. We got our food and sat on the floor with Matt and Robert. "This is boring we aren't allowed to leave our stations." Robert said annoyed. "We have to eat on the floor." Matt said. "Hey what did you guys pack?" I asked. "I packed my phone, phone charger, chips, the stuff for the party and my own drink." Robert said.

"I packed the stuff for the party, y phone, phone charger, a bagel and candy, and Arizona." Matt said. "Cool." I said. "we gotta go back I see people with empty drinks." Matt said and got up. "We should collect the plates. Hold the garbage bag." I said to Daniel. "Hi Ma'am are you done?" I asked. "Yes thank you dear it was delicious!" She smiled and i took her plate. "Aw your welcome." I said. We collected the rest and put the garbage bag outside in the dumpster. "I officially hate this party." I said. "Same but at least I'm with you!" He said putting his arm around me.

We walked inside and to the kitchen and got the dessert out. "Yo catch." I said throwing the plates. He caught it and placed them down. "Can the cake come out now?" The person asked. "How are we supposed to do that?" I whispered. We lifted it up and carried it out the door and people were giving us strange looks. "Babe we have to carry it back into the kitchen when their done." Daniel said as we dropped it on the table. They cut the cake and took pictures and we brought it back to the kitchen.

People were lining up by the window already but I was thirsty so I went to my bag and got my Arizona out and took a sip. "So do you wanna cut it or should I?" He asked. "I got it." I said. I cut the pieces and gave them to Daniel. "Do you want a piece?" I asked him. "No." "same." I said. We sat on the table in the middle of the kitchen and ate our candy. "Hey vine I'm in a kitchen with this lovey." I threw a candy at him and he stopped recording. "I have to pee." I said and got up. I walked to the bathroom and saw Becca in there. "Hey girly." I said.

"Hi." she said back. I did my business, washed my hands and left. I got stopped by the bride. "Hey how's kitchen duty?" She asked. "Boring." I said and walked away. I grabbed my bag and sat on the floor with my phone. "Babe we have visitors!" Daniel said. I got up and saw the bride and groom. "Hi how can I help you guys?" I asked nicely. "What are you guys doing in there?" He asked. "we have kitchen duty." Daniel sad grabbing my hand. "So you guys are on the floor?" She asked. "Yep!" We said. They walked away and we sat back on the floor. "Hmmm what to do?" I asked.

"Hmmm." we thought. "Do you have more candy?" We asked at the same time. We laughed and grabbed our candy. Once everyone left it was only us and the two people of the day. "Can I put on some music?" I asked my mom. "Sure honey." she smiled. I put on some music and the first song was Reflections by Misterwives. "Daniel we have to clean up." I said and grabbed his hand. "Alright alright." he said grabbing the left over food and wrapping it up. We put it on the table outside the kitchen and cleaned the rest of the stuff. We grabbed our bags and walked out.

I looked at the picture and it was us walking with our blue backpacks. "We should take a squad picture." I said. We took one of the back of us with our back packs, I squad version one and a nice one.

After that we drove home and I changed and fell asleep with my teddy bear and Burnie.
