Oiamh's POV
For some reason I was summoned to the castle. Not my father or mother - but me, which makes no sense.
Once I arrived I saw Zero but also 7 other wolves.
"I'm glad you got our summons Oiamh. Worry not, this is not for a bad reason. We saw the wolf cry and asked for you all to meet here. That we may figure out a way forward" Queen Niamh said to me.
"I understand your majesty" I replied with a polite curtsy
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you Oiamh Wolf. My name is Shay. Supreme Alpha of the Undead Wolf Clan. We got the sky wolf clan's wolf cry and then followed up with the royal summons. We had a feeling it was serious if they were wanting all the wolves back together again for the first time in 12 years" Shay explained to me.
"The name is Sora. Alpha of the solar wolves then this is my little sister Lumi. We're not actually related but our two clans are intertwined so much I help her rule as she's not of age just yet. As Alpha Shay said, we got the messages then came as soon as we could"
I couldn't believe my eyes. Representatives from all the wolf clans except for the shadow clan were in the same room as each other.
I was about to say something when someone ran in panting. I turned around and it was Dawn!
"Dawn Shadow?! What in the Crystal are you doing here?!" I asked her
"I want to help you. I don't want to use my powers for evil anymore...my mother installed a fear in me. A fear that my father didn't bother to try and fix then I was turned into his lieutenant. But I want to help the wolf deities as a fellow wolf myself. Crescida and Soli are being held prisoner in my father's manor with miasma filling the room thanks to my brother Lycidas. You must hurry though as I overheard him say he would enhance his curse in two days" Dawn explained.
"Zero...what do you think? You remember what she did to me..." I asked him
"I'm truly sorry for that. I was told if I didn't do that to you I'd be punished severely so I went along with the orders" Dawn told me
"We'll trust her for now. But be warned Dawn, try any funny business or attempt to kill one of the leaders or Oiamh and I won't hesitate to cut you down where you stand. Understood?" Zero explained to her
"Crystal clear" Dawn replied then we explained the plan to everyone.
"My fire wolves and I can purify the miasma" Luna Tana stated
"Then myself and my wolves can help you with the ritual to teleport Crescida and Soli back up to the celestial realm" Sora told me. One by one the leaders agreed to help
"If you don't mind my asking, what caused the fight or flight years ago? It's obvious you can all work together in harmony" King Oísin asked
"None of us know for sure. All I recall was a pink haired wolf with her red haired companion telling us one thing then the other clans abandoned the everlasting alliance" Luna Lumi explained
"Wait....Pink haired wolf with a red haired companion....that sounds like Rose and Leyla Dusk. The most wanted criminals in all of Ireland as a whole. It was rose who brought Crescida and Soli to my father in exchange for her life as we were prepared to execute them for their crimes against wolf kind." Dawn mentioned
"Then those two set the triggers and now are watching from the side-lines. But for now let's rescue the deities then I can handle another mission before we deal with those two" I explained.
No POV
Zero was about to add onto what Oiamh just said when he felt my chest get heavy all of a sudden then he began to cough up blood.
"Damn it! Not now!!!" Zero thought to himself. His body began to feel weak then he collapsed.
"ZERO!!! ZERO!!!" Oiamh shouting his name in worry was the last thing the sky wolf heard before he lost consciousness.
Oiamh held him close with tears flowing down her cheek from worry.
The healers came running as soon as they heard the yelling then saw the sky wolf collapsed with blood on his hands and face.
"Bring him to the infirmary at once!" The chief healer told Oiamh and the other leaders. Shay took Zero into his arms then everyone ran to the infirmary.
Oiamh was admittedly quite scared because the man she loves - but can't admit that to him - just collapsed after coughing up blood violently.
The healers immediately began to exam him and determine what caused this to happen when they discovered his heart was nothing more than a spectral with dirt inside it.
"What's going on with him?" Lumi asked.
"Oiamh...there's no easy way to say this but...I think Zero is cursed. His heart isn't in his body. A spectral of it is with some dirt inside that but nothing else. I wish there was something we could do to fix that but all we can do is ease the pain of the blood coughs and nothing else. I'm sorry" the chief explained to her then Oiamh broke down. She hugged Zero whilst crying her eyes out.
Zero meant more to her than anyone could ever imagine. She loves him and he loves her. They're just unable to tell each other that and now she could lose him...forever.
Shay was about to speak when Zero began to come round again.
"Oiamh?" A voice said.
