So it's been three weeks since Leyla and I killed Trodaí Wolf but our experiment on him is preventing his corpse from decomposing.
"How is the test subject faring?" I asked Leyla since she's more of the scientist. My skills lie in weapon crafting
"Another week of infusions then we can begin the next phase of our experiment on him." Leyla told me
I didn't question why it's taking so long for the experimental infusions to take effect. Leyla knows what she's doing.
"In that case I'm going to go and try to find the undead clan again. One day I will find them and force them to give over their secrets over death" I replied
"Alrighty. Take it easy though - the other wolves in the world no doubt are aware we killed Trodaí since his daughter and wife survived" Leyla explained.
I nodded sternly then morphed into my celestial maiden disguise. It's the same one I used to lure Soli and Crescida to the mortal realm - though we know how that turned out thanks to Oiamh Wolf and Zero Sparks.
Those two are thorns in my side that need to die! Maybe I'll spy on Zero Sparks to see if he's still alive after what I did to him years ago.
I teleported up to the sky wolf clan's territory then turned invisible so I could wander around unnoticed.
"How do you feel today son? It's been around a week since the procedure now?" I heard someone ask
"I've felt stronger but I know Esterra meant well when she told me to take it easy for so long" that's Zero!! Damn it, he's alive still?!
It's not safe for me right now to stay here so I need to flee back to the land.
Once I had teleported to the land again I sought out the water keeper known as Aleiya.
"The stories about Aleiya say she can be found around here...but where?" I asked myself
"Are you looking for me miss?" I heard someone say.
I looked around then saw the maiden with sapphire hair. Aleiya of the Sea.

"I am yes. I heard the water folk know how to reach the undead werewolf clan. I wish to pay tribute to a deceased relative who was buried there 30 years ago" I replied
"I see....I'm afraid I know not how to help you. Rose of the Underworld. As the water guardian I was told about you - now flee before I summon the water wolves to kill you" Aleiya stated.
Knowing that she was not bluffing, I returned home.
I walked into my home then saw Leyla standing over Trodai Wolf's body.
"Two months then the next stage of our plan can begin. He must be perfect for when we have him kill his own wife and daughter. " I heard Leyla say to herself.
"I thought you said earlier one week until we can?" I asked my sister
"That's what I thought - sadly there is an enchantment over his soul making it hard for the infusions to bind to his soul. I'm doing all I can to break said enchantment but it's proving difficult" Leyla explained then turned to face me
"How fared your investigation?" Leyla commented
"That pesky mermaid knows who I am. She saw right through my disguise somehow....by some weird chance of luck she let me leave unharmed but we need to do something about her." I replied
"I see...go rest up for now. You need to maintain some balance of magic dear sister" Leyla added then I went to bed.
Oiamh's POV
It's been some time now since my dad was killed and I became the new leader, but I honestly wish I had even a remote amount of time to train as I've fallen behind on my swordsmanship and my spellcasting.
"Good morning my lady" Zachery said when he came into my office
"Zach...what is the connection between you and Shay? It struck me as odd that out of every wolf on the island, it's only you who can communicate with the clan who hide themselves from everyone" I asked him
Zach just stood there in silence
"You know something. Tell me Zachery. Whatever you know may helpful in finding the monsters that ended my father's rule early"
"I wish I could tell you. But the time is not yet right. For now focus on settling down into your rule. As for why I'm here - Lady Dawn and Lord Lycidas wish to see you" Zach explained.
"Alright - send them in" I replied then he left. Shortly after the Shadow Siblings entered my study.
"Apologies we haven't connected in a few days Oiamh. It's been a bit chaotic for us trying to get intel from our loyal pack members without our parents or the other packs in the Shadow clan suspecting shit" Lycidas explained as we sat in the armchairs with tea and snacks.
"It's quite alright. I understand things have been busy. On another note, there is something I wish to discuss with you both" I stated
"Is aught amiss Oiamh?" Dawn asked
"Nay, Quite the opposite in fact. I want to offer you both a home - permanently - in the forest clan" I replied and they were both shocked.
"I...wow. May we think on it for a bit please?" Lycidas asked
"Of course. I wouldn't have expected an answer right away. Take all the time you need" I explained.
The rest of the day was spent with me doing chores in the house.
