⁂⁂⁂
"Jesus Ophelia get your feet off my face!" She giggles but make no attempt to remove it. I roll my eyes and push her leg off me.
"Oh don't be so grouchy." She switches from her sitting position, lay on the bed and place her head on the same pillow I'm resting my head on.
"What are you doing?" I ask in a bored and tired tone. She's trying to pull the hood of my hoodie off my head, but thankfully it doesn't come off.
"I want to take a picture of both of us, but your stupid hood is in the way." Ophelia complains.
"I don't wanna take a picture--" I turn to the other side, taking another pillow to cover my already covered face, "I wanna sleep!" I voice out clearly to her.
"Like you always do." I don't need to see her to know she just rolled her eyes.
"I can't help it," I let out a satisfied and free breath, "Your bed is like sleeping on the clouds." If I could have anything in the world, it's Ophelia's bed.
If I don't wanna use the word soft and comfortable, I can just easily say-- your skin is so Ophelia's bed.
That's how heavenly it feels like sleeping on it.
"Have you slept on the clouds before?" She questions with a little laugh, dumping her body on me.
"Lia!" I groan, "get your large body off me!" That's incorrect though. She's as light as a feather.
She gasp and shoots up from the bed. "OH GOD!"
I chuckle at her panicked state, while I sit up. She's already ruined my chances of getting a good sleep, might as well pay her back.
Ophelia's eyes went all over the place with panic. It's so hilarious to watch.
"Did I gain weight? Am I heavy? I thought I look--" I cut her off by holding her cheeks, bringing our faces directly staring back at each other.
"I was joking. You're as light as the lightest thing." She breathes out before breaking into a smile.
The only thing in this entire planet, I can say that puts Ophelia on edge and makes her freak out is anything that has to do with her body. She's super self-conscious of it, but over the past seventeen years, she has gotten better.
Ophelia and I have been best friends before either of us could say any coherent word as kids. She's the daughter of Bryan Maxwell, one of the country's most successful businessmen. CEO of companies all over the country, from this to that to whatnot.
Her Mom is Ashely Maxwell, one of the world's biggest Supermodel. She was as big as Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, you name it.
