⁂⁂⁂
I tuck my phone behind my jeans pocket and head right around the backyard of the house where the patio is.
I look heavenwards as I walk under the sky. The sky looks peaceful and calm, as the sun sets from a far distance, with colorful hues of yellow, orange and pink.
It's beautiful.
The day has easily fallen into night. Cool breeze blows through the air, kissing my exposed skin. I inhale, then exhale deeply.
I wanted to focus on how things are bad right now, but I don't. I'm choosing to think about something good and it happens to be with Cade.
What I have with Cade is something good, even if it's happening at the wrong time.
In mere minutes, I arrive at the patio and I immediately spot Cade waiting for me. He looks impatient and that only influenced my walking speed to get to him.
"You really need to stop eye-fucking me from acro—" I start, but Cade barely lets me finish my statement as he pulls me closer to him, holds the sides of my face with his large hands and slams his lips unto mine with urgency and hunger. I was taken by surprise, but I didn't pull away from his lips.
Cade takes my breath in one kiss and I couldn't want anything more. My whole body lights up like I'm standing on fire and it feels too good.
I cannot begin to put into words how I feel about Cade. What he makes me feel and how alive I feel when I'm with him.
He doesn't waste anytime in wrapping his arms around my bare waist, pulling me even closer to him. While I hold both sides of his face with my hands, standing on my toes and deepening our kiss. He taste like mint, with a hint of fruity flavor intertwined.
My knees have completely given out at this point, but Cade doesn't let me fall, because he knows how much he affects me. And how much I affect him.
Holding a deep and passionate kiss for almost a minute, we finally let ourselves breathe.
"Fuck!" Cade cusses under his breath through his soft and wet lips, concealed by our essence. His voice was unexpectedly deep and rough, making me wish we were doing just more than kissing right now.
I look into his eyes and he looks at me with an emotion I'm starting to get familiar with. Love.
"Is this new?" He refers to my bangs and I chuckle.
"Do you like it? Thought I'd try something new." I brush his face tenderly with my right thumb, while mindlessly playing with his necklace with my free hand.
