"Yes!" Ophelia jumps in excitement, attracting more people in the bowling alley.
"We win for the second time." She stares at Zayn and Freya with a game face.
"We are so winning this game." Freya rolls her eyes at her and Zayn laughs.
We are playing three frames. We are currently down to the last frame and Ophelia and I have won the first two frames.
Freya has put on more effort than before. She also smiled and laughed more, which is a very beautiful sight to see.
Even if she seems more lively and happier, which I'm happy at, I still wish she would smile at me more and talk to me comfortably.
"Why are we so bad at this game?" Zayn says to Freya, making both of them laugh.
"Okay last frame, let's go." Ophelia bends down in front of the lane, ready to throw her ball.
"Lia it's obvious both of you are the winners, why rub it in our face even more?" Freya blows out a yawn.
Is it weird that I find her super cute yawning?
"It's just one more round baby, it's to boost my ego and diminish yours." Ophelia grins at them before throwing her ball.
Ophelia gives off villain vibes. It's both thrilling and terrifying.
As expected, Ophelia's ball hits all the pins in one go. She doesn't jump in joy this time, but flips her long blonde hair in Zayn and Freya's faces.
We end the game and went back to our table. Ophelia orders more food and continues rubbing our victory in both their faces.
"Oh give it up Lia. You won, we lost, the world is still the same." Freya sips her soda, boring her eyes into Ophelia's.
"It still feels good to rub it in your faces."
I chuckle at the both of them, before turning to Zayn that sits opposite Ophelia and I, with Freya by his side.
"Hey." I drag his attention from his food.
"Is everything okay at home?" Zayn meets my face at my voice.
"Yeah. Dad just wanted some documents sent to him that he forgot to travel with." He explains and I nod in understanding.
"Okay."
Minutes passed with us talking about random stuff. Zayn excused himself to the bathroom moments after. Ophelia's attention is given solely to her phone. She occasionally shows me what she's shopping online and ask for my opinion, even though she doesn't need it.
I could feel Freya's eyes on us but for some reason, I became nervous to look at her. She has piercing hazel eyes and intense irises at that.
Conan gray's Overdrive plays at the background of bowling alley and my mouth automatically spread into a smile when I hear Freya humming to it.
