⁂⁂⁂
Recap to some hours ago.
"Today is all about having fun and letting loose Yaya!" Ophelia sways her hips to the satisfying musical flow of Rihanna & Calvin Harris's This is what you came for.
All I can do is laugh at her excitement and move my body along.
I've been rampaging through the side of Ophelia's closet she let me use, for what to wear for more than ten minutes already. I still haven't decided.
Ophelia's parents and Amy left in the morning. I basically slept through most of the day and a watched a movie when I woke up.
The day has gone by so quick, like it's running fast to get to the get-together Ophelia has planned out for tonight.
I know it's just a normal gathering with our closest friends, so there's no need to go over the top with an outfit. At least to me it isn't.
But unlike me, Ophelia always dresses like she owns the occasion or party— which she actually does tonight.
She has on a baby pink sheer mini dress with thin straps and matched the daring outfit with white combat boots. She looks beautiful as always.
After lazily debating on what to put on, I finally decided on something casual. The baggiest washed out jeans I could find and a white bodycon crop long sleeves top. The jeans hangs lowly around my waist, leaving my tummy bare in the crop top, just how I like it.
"You look pretty Lia." Ophelia jumps me for a hug at my compliment.
"As do you Yaya." I roll my eyes, but laugh anyway.
"Baby, this is what you came for!" I sing the lyrics loudly, along with Ophelia.
"Lightning strikes every time she move!" We giggle and laugh at each other's not so good voices, but it doesn't hinder us from enjoying ourselves.
After singing and jumping excitedly, we finally finish getting ready. I wear no makeup of any sort and settled with a lip moisturizer.
Ophelia heads out before me, probably to go meet Daya, April and Camila. I heard their voices— mostly April's voice, because she announced her arrival.
I stay behind to take my medication, which in the process pisses me off that I have to do this in order to live.
Fuck you lungs!
